Riders who rank among the best in the world often travel to Laramie to test themselves here, making it a standout part of Laramie Jubilee Days. Mr. T, inducted into the PRCA Hall of Fame in 2024, gained fame as one of the toughest bulls to cover. His legacy runs through Jubilee Days, including the bull head logo inspired by him, and Summit Rodeo continues that tradition with bulls from his bloodline. Quality materials are used so your finished piece reflects your personal style. Most projects are completed in about two and a half to three hours. Participants adopt a survey route, hike it, and document any moose seen as well as clear signs of moose activity. Evidence can include hoofprints, bedding areas, droppings, and browsing on aspen and willows. Routes are available in the Vedauwoo/Happy Jack, Arlington, and Snowy Range areas. New participants must complete an online training and pass a quiz, and returning participants are encouraged to refresh their skills through the training. Registration is open. Observations from this community science effort are shared with biologists at UW to support research on local moose numbers, reproduction, ranges, and how these measures change over time.

The Lyric in Casper and the Laramie Plains Civic Center in Laramie have teamed up to present this statewide celebration of performing arts. Shane Wallace, based in Cheyenne and fond of the outdoors, has performed with Laramie groups including The Custom Caravans, De Gringos Y Gremmies, Have Fun Will Travel, and The Twaynes, and he is still searching for the best Old Fashioned in the region. Jack lives in Laramie, holds titles as state of Wyoming fiddle champion and Wyoming no holds barred champion, and has played with Mad Dog Rodeo, Sweet Beulah, Wyoming Home Grown, and The Twaynes. He and his wife, Connie, who plays the harp, also perform for weddings. The performance brings together their family sound and long experience across Wyoming.

Listeners often hear echoes of Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens in his sound. His catalog includes two albums and an EP, and he has taken his songs to stages across Wyoming, shared bills with Jalan Crossland, and performed for ArtCore. Admirers describe his tuneful, sincere writing as poetic, while he keeps his focus on one thing... playing music.

An annual celebration of Wyoming’s past takes place at the Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site, offering a free experience open to the public with hands-on learning for all ages. Explore the state’s cultural heritage, including Indigenous lifeways and historic traditions, through interactive activities. Try flint knapping, practice atlatl throwing, make pottery, paint hides, twist cordage, and learn about yucca processing, among other opportunities. Meet local archaeologists, ask questions, and find answers about their work and discoveries. Special guests the Wind River Dancers will share a variety of Indigenous dance styles.
