Novel Tea Book Club - April
A welcoming book club brings readers together for warm conversation with tea and biscuits in a cozy setting. The current selection is Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard, set in a society divided by the color of its people’s blood, where silver-blooded elites with extraordinary abilities rule over red-blooded commoners. Mare Barrow, a seventeen-year-old from the impoverished Stilts, is drawn into the Silver Palace and discovers a power of her own that challenges the established order. To contain the risk she represents, the Silvers present her as a lost princess and pair her with a prince, while she quietly supports the Red Guard. Darth Vader sets a trap in Cloud City, seeking to draw Luke toward the dark side. Admission is $5 for a single movie or $10 to see all three, plus tax and fees.
