Stepping Up Your Nutrition

This two-hour seminar, led by a Nutrition Program Supervisor, explores how everyday food choices influence overall health, steadiness, and concentration. Participants will learn about the connection between nutrition and fall risk, why maintaining muscle is important, and practical ways to meet protein and fluid needs. The session also highlights how food can support well-being while fostering connections with others.

Al-Anon Meeting

This Al-Anon meeting offers a place for people affected by someone else’s drinking to share and be heard in a spirit of equality. Participants speak from personal experience, whether the connection is with a spouse or partner, a parent, child, or grandchild, or a sibling, friend, or other relative. Many have navigated more than one relationship touched by alcoholism. Newcomers often seek stories that resemble their own, and over time discover that the principles of Al-Anon can be learned from many different situations. The focus is on understanding, connection, and support through shared experiences.
