SpeedPlay 2026 is a track focused training session at Neenah Middle School. It is designed for those who can complete a two mile run or walk at any pace and want a fresh challenge. Shattuck ParkWednesday Night Road Rides
Weekly road rides roll out from The Recyclist with a focus on picking up the pace, connecting with fellow cyclists, and having a great ride. Two pace groups are offered so everyone can choose the right fit. Group A targets an average of about 19 mph or higher and generally covers 30 to 40 miles, with distance adjusted for available daylight, typically wrapping up in roughly two hours. This group is intended for experienced riders who are ready to match the leaders’ pace. Group B follows a no drop format at about 16 mph, usually rides 20 to 30 miles depending on daylight, and finishes in about an hour and a half, making it a supportive choice for newer group riders or those easing into the season. Safety guidelines include wearing a helmet, strongly considering a rear light, skipping earbuds, following ride leaders’ instructions, and staying within the posted pace. Parking is requested on the street, in the neighboring doctor’s office lot, or in the farther spaces near the mailbox.

Walk-in interviews are being held in the Fox Valley for caregiver roles. Openings include Caregivers and Lead Caregivers, including DSP and DSS positions, with the possibility of on-the-spot offers. These roles support adults with medical or emotional disabilities in residential settings that serve one to five individuals. Hourly pay ranges from $15 to $17, with additional pay for shift differentials and overtime. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, and hiring is focused on second and third shifts. A benefits package is offered that includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), stock, tuition assistance, and more.
Musical Movers Storytime
Kids ages 2 to 6 can move and groove with songs, bubbles, and stories alongside Miss LoriAnn and Miss Katrina. Each tour lasts about two hours and is limited to 12 guests. Tickets are $15 and sold online only. Expect to climb four flights of stairs.

Explore the science of flight with a hands-on family program presented in partnership with EAA. Participants will create and launch an air launched rocket, and all supplies are included. Weekly road rides roll out from The Recyclist with two pace options so every rider can find a comfortable fit. Group A targets an average of about 19 mph or higher and typically covers 30 to 40 miles, intended for experienced cyclists who keep to the ride leader’s pace. Group B is a no-drop group averaging around 16 mph and generally riding 20 to 30 miles, offering a steady and supportive option for newer group riders or anyone easing into the season. An additional C level group is planned. Helmets are required and rear lights are highly recommended. Earbuds are not permitted. Riders are expected to follow ride leader instructions and stick to the advertised pace. Parking is available on the road, in the doctor’s office lot next door, or in the far parking spaces by the mailbox.

In Genesys, Link and Pendulum Monsters are not used, the original layout is in effect without Extra Monster Zones or Pendulum Zones, and the usual Forbidden and Limited list is not enforced. Those cards are permitted with the standard limit of up to three copies per card still in place, excluding Link and Pendulum cards. Deck construction follows a point system in which some cards carry a point value while many cost zero, and the combined total across Main, Extra, and Side Decks must remain at or below the event cap of 100 points. Entry is $5, with a Tournament Pack awarded for each win and a participation pack available if a win is not recorded. A Konami ID is required for in-store registration, and online tools are available to help with building a deck and tracking points.

The cost is $45, or $35 for WDC members, and each registration includes the K-9 Medic book. Capacity is limited. No dogs are permitted in the classroom, so pets must remain at home. Autistic children can discover confidence and connection with horses at this supportive equine camp, designed around hands-on learning. Campers meet, brush, and walk horses, explore sensory activities, enjoy barn-focused crafts and games, and practice on a horse simulator before riding a real horse. The program is led by certified instructors, an occupational therapist, and a caring team of staff and volunteers, with activities tailored to each child’s strengths and needs. This day is part of a three-day session, and the camp is offered across two separate weeks, each serving a different group of participants. Create a colorful accent for a planter, garden bed, or yard by designing a glass piece that will be kiln fused for a polished finish. After firing, a metal rod is added so the artwork can be displayed in a pot or staked outdoors. Please allow up to 3.5 weeks for the firing process, and look for an email when your project is ready for pickup. The finished piece includes a 4 by 11 inch glass panel and an 18 inch metal rod. The largest fundraiser for the Friends of the Neenah Public Library features a multi-day book sale with a large assortment of books and AV items. Typical pricing is $2 for hardcover and trade paperback titles, $1 for paperbacks, 50 cents for children’s books, and $1 for AV, with specialty items marked higher. Highlights include a day when shoppers can fill a bag for $7 and, later in the sale, days when all items are free. Donations are currently being accepted.

The project began as an Appleton duo that grew into the A-Town Unplugged lineup, performing in flexible formats that range from trio to full band. They also serve as the official house band for Appleton Curling Club, Menasha Marina, Cliff Runner 10K, and The Crystal Ballroom.

After spending nearly three decades performing in South Florida’s tiki bar circuit, he returned to the Fox Valley to reunite with Koepke, and together they have entertained audiences across Northeast Wisconsin for more than a decade.
Cookbook Book Club: Fruits and Veggies
Cookbook Book Club features a fruits and veggies theme. Browse the Lucky Day Shelf display or the stacks to find a cookbook that fits the focus, try a few recipes, and, if you wish, bring small samples of a favorite to share. Conversation centers on cooking and exchanging ideas. The group meets in the Orlady Room. No reservation is required. Bringing a dish is optional, and attendees may sample others even without bringing one, since this is not a potluck but a relaxed gathering of home cooks. Recipes do not need to come from a cookbook devoted solely to the theme; a relevant section from any cookbook or a cherished family recipe is welcome. No formal reviews are expected.
