Outdoors with Rob Zimmer: Waterfowl Wonders of Lake Winnebago and the Fox River
After the ice clears, thousands of birds gather on Lake Winnebago and the Fox River, with Little Lake Butte des Mort also noted. Rob Zimmer presents an overview of dozens of waterfowl species, highlighting loons, grebes, and many others seen on these waters. Support for this program comes from the Friends of the Neenah Library and the Neenah Public Library Trust Fund, and contributions to either are welcome. All are welcome. ⛳Reid Golf Course Monday Night League
Monday night at Reid Golf Course features a Twilight Golf league built around fun, social nine-hole rounds. Players can participate solo or with friends, and organizers will place individuals on a team when needed. During enrollment, participants share tee time preferences, then receive a consistent weekly slot at the same course with the lowest available green fee for nine holes. Rounds include live scoring and season-long standings via Golf Genius, creating friendly competition for all abilities. Open to men and women of every skill level, it offers an easy after-work nine, team formats that keep things inclusive, and a welcoming way to meet other golfers.
