Radical Monday Hot Cocoa & Hang Out
A student-friendly hangout at The Journey Assembly offers complimentary hot cocoa and snacks, along with activities such as board games, coloring, watercolor painting, and origami. A quiet area is set aside for homework and study. It is open to students from pre-K through 12th grade and does not operate on holidays or days when school is not in session.
The Journey Assembly of GodMonday Stitch and Sip
Bring a portable craft to Wicked Teuton for an easygoing session with creative company. Beginners working on yarn projects can ask questions, and anyone seeking a friendly group or a change of scenery will find a reserved table set aside for crafting. Feel free to bring dinner if it fits your schedule. Beverages are available for purchase at the bar, and outside drinks are not permitted. This gathering takes place whenever Wicked Teuton is open.
BEGINNER CLASS @ Spark Movement Academy, Oak Harbor, WA
Start your line dance journey with Line Dancing w/ Gigi, a true beginner class at Spark Movement Academy. New dancers learn the fundamental steps by name, then link them into sequences to build complete routines, often picking up one or two dances by the end. A variety of music genres keeps the experience lively and engaging. The class supports healthy movement and confidence, helping participants improve mobility, balance, and memory while meeting others with the same interest. Everyone ages 10 to 100 is welcome. Admission is $10 per person, payable at the door by cash, Cash App, or Venmo. No registration is required. The instructor fosters a friendly, supportive, and safe environment where learning, staying active, and having fun come together.
