The work unfolds in layers so your system has time to open, process, and integrate. Across the series you will explore rhythmic, elemental breathing to find a steady internal pace, guided breathwork set to music for deeper focus, EFT tapping to support emotional release, and a restorative sound bath while lying down that blends vibrations from crystal bowls, chimes, and drums to help your body settle and reorganize. Guided meditation and journaling help you synthesize what is shifting, and affirmations informed by NLP support patterns that feel more aligned. Together, these practices invite trust in your own timing and signals, boundaries that feel clear without guilt or lengthy explanations, and connection that honors your sense of self. As the weeks progress, you may notice quieter mental chatter, more steadiness in your body, greater space to pause before reacting, clearer boundaries, deepening self-trust, and a steadier energy that does not require pushing. Please bring something comfortable to lie on such as a yoga mat, along with a blanket or shawl, a pillow, and a journal with a pen. BLADE GamingAnnual Floatilla to Starr Hill(a)
A self-guided river float heads to Starr Hill with a relaxed, go-at-your-own-pace format intended to get lots of people on the water around the same general time. Participants handle their own shuttle, and parking is tight, so a two-car plan is suggested, leaving a vehicle at the gravel take-out near Honey Tree and close to Starr Hill Brewery, then carpooling back to the put-in. If using only one vehicle, leave it at the take-out and return to the start by ride share, bike, or scooter. Bring whatever suits your style, including tubes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and fun inflatables, and consider renting gear from Roanoke Mountain Adventures while supplies last. Pack a pump to inflate quickly so you are not stuck on shore. This is an informal outing in a public space without lifeguards or waivers, so strong swimming ability and comfort in moving water are essential. Wear secure footwear and skip flip-flops or going barefoot. Start points are flexible in the Wasena Park area near local landmarks like The Green Goat, Roanoke Mountain Adventures, and the skatepark, with the float wrapping up at Starr Hill Brewery. After the river, the gathering continues in the outdoor space with live music, a foam party, and plenty of room to relax. Expect Smokin’ Nick’s food truck alongside the brewery’s new kitchen, plus 22 beers on tap, craft seltzer cocktails, wine and seltzer slushies, cider, canned cocktails, and nonalcoholic options.
