Southern Utah’s largest STEM experience brings together hands-on opportunities for all ages. Explore interactive stations across science, technology, engineering, and math, play twelve rounds of miniatronic golf, and enjoy food trucks on site. Children can dive into chemistry and decode math-based puzzles, while adults practice disaster planning skills and play classic arcade games. Utah Tech students and faculty present research and capstone poster displays, and forty industry exhibitors showcase innovations from across the STEM spectrum. It all adds up to a lively mix of discovery, design, and fun.

Newest Grand Opening Location Party

April Food Distribution

At the St. George Food Bank, Rotary volunteers spend the day distributing groceries to people in need. The focus is on teamwork, service, and genuine camaraderie, with laughter and memorable moments shared throughout. Every box handed out reflects pride in making a real difference and the strength of a community working together.

Intermediate/Advanced Ballet Class for Adults!

Build technique and confidence with a class that spans basics through intermediate work, giving participants room to restore strength, balance, and endurance at a comfortable pace. Instructor Katherine Raine returns with a carefully structured curriculum that benefits those who attend regularly. This class pairs with an intermediate and advanced session on Thursdays, where concepts introduced earlier in the week are developed further. Taking both is optional, and the Thursday class requires a separate registration. The cost is $230 for the full semester.

The newly released sewing class calendar at Jensen’s Vacuum & Sewing Machines - St. George offers options for beginners as well as those looking to build on their skills. At the St George Senior Center, this resource event connects older adults with reliable local services through the Community Partnerships for Seniors of Southern Utah. Wednesday Bird Walk

Explore Royal Oaks Park on a bird walk that starts at the main pond bordered by mature trees, continues along the paved path at the base of rock cliffs, and finishes by skirting Middleton Wash on a somewhat rough dirt section. The route blends paved walking with a section of uneven dirt.

Beginning Ballet Class for Adults!

This beginner-friendly ballet class for adults builds a foundation in technique and terminology. Instruction focuses on developing balance, coordination, memory, and flexibility in a supportive setting. Hannah Bennett leads the class at the Performing Arts Campus - PAC. Tuition is $230 for the full semester.

2026 Cotton Days Musical

Part of Cotton Days, this new in-person musical offers evening performances with an additional matinee. Side by Side: Arthur Paxman and the Old Gym unfolds in the 1920s and follows a community worried about losing its young people as Arthur Paxman and Calvin Hall work to build a gym to draw them back. Creating a place for recreation proves difficult when many residents are struggling to make a living from the red dirt. Tickets are free.

Thursday Jam Night @ Blues Katz

Blues Katz hosts a weekly jam with an open stage for musicians, vocalists, and comedians. Participants can bring a guitar, try out jokes, or share vocals on stage. There is no cover charge, and a two item minimum applies. This happens each Thursday.

Spring Fashion Show

Lavish 31 marks its first anniversary alongside Amy’s 41st birthday with a spring fashion show centered on style and fun. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids 13 and under. Hand Building Class – May 1 – 6:00

Recovery Dharma (In person)

Super Mom 5K/10K/Half Marathon - St. George

This community race honors the power and heart of mothers with 5K, 10K, and half marathon distances at Crosby Family Confluence Park. Open to all, it welcomes anyone running for a mother, in memory of one, or in celebration of the women who inspire their lives. Every finisher receives a keepsake medal to mark the achievement. Awards recognize the top three in standard five year age groups across divisions. Regular registration is $35 for the 5K, $40 for the 10K, and $60 for the half marathon, with a $35 virtual option. Late registration is $37.50 for the 5K, $42.50 for the 10K, and $62.50 for the half marathon. Race day pricing is $40 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the half marathon. Runners, walkers, and supporters are welcome as the event highlights endurance, gratitude, and the everyday superpowers of moms.

2nd Annual Kaylee's Legacy Scholarship Memorial Poker Run

The second annual memorial poker run for Kaylee's Legacy Scholarship is organized by ZionHD and Boozefighters MC Utah, with registration at Zion Harley-Davidson. Entry is $25 for riders or drivers, $15 for passengers, and $15 for an extra hand.

Cotton Days

At Washington City Veterans Park, Cotton Days includes participation by the Rodney Neilson American Legion Post 912. The post will take part in the Cotton Days Parade and will staff a booth where attendees can meet legionnaires and auxiliary members and hear about the community events they intend to support this year. The outreach is especially directed to veterans of Washington City.

Little Valley Preparedness Fair

A preparedness fair centered on practical self-reliance skills and resources. Learn about off-grid cooking options, assembling a 72 hour kit and a basic medical kit, planning food and water storage with the help of calculators, and the fundamentals of amateur radio for communication. The event also covers home gardening and keeping chickens, along with insights into alternative currencies such as cryptocurrency and precious metals like gold and silver. Guidance on useful preparation tools is included to support personal readiness.

Cruise to Zion

The route is set for a car cruise that starts in Springdale, continues nonstop through Grafton, and finishes back in Springdale with a meetup at Jack's on Main Street. Before heading out, there will be a brief gathering at Smith's Marketplace.

She Deserves This!

Celebrate self care with a Mother’s Day inspired empowerment boudoir mini event designed for women who give so much to others and want time devoted entirely to themselves. It is planned as a complete experience rather than only a photoshoot. Each participant enjoys a boudoir session and receives all edited images in both color and black and white. Attendees can keep a handmade bracelet, explore myofascial release therapy, and experience a head spa demonstration along with color analysis. A drink bar in the Swig style is available, along with charcuterie, sandwiches, and a chocolate fountain. The main stage offers a wide-ranging lineup that includes Tuacahn, Siva Pasefika, Anna, Elsa and Kristoff from Frozen, magician Frank Bright, Encore Performing Arts, and several local bands. Washington Farmers Market

At Veterans Park, the Washington Farmers Market offers a welcoming community experience featuring a complimentary scavenger hunt for children, seasonal produce, locally made honey, fresh flowers, farm eggs, and sourdough bread. International Female Ride Day Women's Ride

A women-focused ride honors International Female Ride Day, organized by the Southern Utah H.O.G.® Chapter. Participants will travel together through the desert landscapes of Southern Utah and then gather for an off-site luncheon.

Little Zen

Little Zen welcomes children ages 9 to 12 into a lighthearted, soothing setting to move, breathe, and reset. Kids will enjoy yoga-inspired games, try simple mindfulness exercises, settle into a brief guided meditation, and conclude with a calming mini sound bath. The class supports confidence, offers easy tools for easing anxious thoughts, and helps participants leave feeling centered and relaxed. A parent or guardian is required to be present. When the Shelf Breaks: A gentle yoga event

When the Shelf Breaks is a gentle yoga workshop for women moving through a faith crisis or transition. It offers space to consider how identity has been shaped by family, faith traditions, and unwritten expectations, and to notice where personal instincts were set aside and why self-trust can feel uneasy. Participants use body awareness to tune into what feels true, identify beliefs that no longer fit, and practice choosing from clear inner knowing instead of habit or fear. The workshop recognizes that this kind of change can be tender, with feelings like grief, confusion, or loneliness, and it provides practical tools to keep rebuilding trust in yourself, clarify values and beliefs, and shape a life that fits rather than one imposed by others. Bricks & Minifigs St. George hosts a Star Wars themed weekend filled with LEGO fun. Look for prize drawings and freebies, a bonus gift with purchase, and a photo booth for memorable pictures. This interactive, laid-back class guides participants through the bao-making process step by step. Texas Roadhouse

On the first Saturday of each month, SGCS partners with Texas Roadhouse to host a Cruise In and fundraiser that raises money for community programs in need. This gathering takes place at Texas Roadhouse and focuses on supporting local efforts through fundraising.

Southern Utah Funday Farmers Market

This year-round craft fair and farmers market takes place twice a month on the second and fourth Sundays. It operates from February through December and is closed in January. In May and December, the schedule shifts to accommodate major holidays.

Youth Mountain Biking Event ‍

This event is a fun evening on the trails for youth of all skill levels. Participants should bring their own bike, helmet, and water. If needed, a bike and helmet can be provided. Come explore, build skills, and ride. Spots are limited, so sign up today!

This single-session class runs for two hours and introduces participants to fundamental starter techniques. It offers a friendly, low-pressure way to get a feel for the basics and begin building confidence from the very first steps.

435 Connect Meetup: Fluid Art at The Kitchen Table

A colorful 435 Connect meetup brings fluid art and casual networking to The Kitchen Table in St George, Utah. The instructor-led art experience requires no prior skills, and participants choose their own colors and patterns to create a unique 12 by 12 inch canvas for 35 dollars. It is suitable for ages 3 and up with parental supervision. All materials and aprons are provided, and comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended. A resin finish can be added at the event for an additional 15 dollars. Food is not included with the art ticket. A networking-only option is available for those who want to connect over a meal, with taco night and the full menu offered for purchase. Canvases remain in the studio to dry, and participants will be contacted within 10 business days for pickup, with shipping available if needed. A head count is requested for those planning to take part in the art experience or dine.

Meditation Sound Bath and Energy Healing

A small private group healing session offered on the first Tuesday of each month welcomes up to eight participants, each settled into a lounging chair. The experience begins with the facilitator clearing each person’s energy field using a buffalo drum, then inviting support from angels, guides, and a healing team. As frequencies play, the facilitator meets with attendees individually to initiate an awakening activation and channel Angelic and Reiki energies that continue for the rest of the session. After the activations, everyone reclines and is guided through a meditation with sound healing instruments, then rests as layered sounds fill the space. Set in St. George, Utah, this retreat centers on reconnecting with the person you are beneath roles and labels. Experience a soundbath with Laura that invites you to truly slow down. You will lie back, get comfortable, and let the sound do the work. Crystal bowls, a gong, drums, and chimes are used to settle your system and help you get out of your head. People often arrive wired and leave feeling quieter, looser, and more grounded. No experience is needed. Bring a mat or blanket and a pillow, and wear comfortable clothing. There is no set fee, with a suggested offering of 10 to 20 dollars, so give what you can. Set in St. George, this small-group, all-inclusive training camp brings athletes together for focused coaching and camaraderie. This small-group session is a meditative sound bath led by Joni that surrounds participants with gentle vibration. Despite the name, there is no water, as the bath refers to being immersed in layers of sound. The approach draws on centuries of practice across many cultures, including Tibetan and Buddhist traditions that have long used sound to relieve pain, settle the mind, and support healing. Tones and rhythms may encourage the body’s rest and digest response, helping relax muscles, slow the heartbeat, and ease stress. Sound can also nudge brain activity from busy beta waves toward calmer alpha, theta, or delta patterns. Researchers are exploring how organized vibrations might help align brain and body, support mental clarity and relaxation, and even influence blood flow and other tissues. Small studies have linked sound baths with lower cortisol and improved heart rate variability. Participants are seated in lounge chairs while Joni guides the experience with a buffalo drum, crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, three gongs, an ocean drum, bells, chimes, a rain stick, and layered sound effects. Snake Awareness Training

This two hour, outdoor snake awareness session is designed to teach dogs to avoid rattlesnakes. The training is $175 and is open to dogs at least nine months old. It is led by instructor Jay Smith, who has 15 years of experience and was mentored by renowned expert Webb Parton. Rattlesnakes are common in Southern Utah, and while a vaccine can extend the window before veterinary care is needed, avoidance training helps reduce the chance of an encounter. Safety is central to the process. A live rattlesnake is used so dogs can learn from sight, sound, and scent, and the snake is temporarily defanged as a painless precaution that lasts about a week until the fangs grow back. Behavior change is achieved with the controlled use of an e collar. This is the only time a corrective collar is used in this program. After the brief correction, the dog associates the sensation with the snake and chooses to stay away, followed by plenty of reassurance from the handler and the instructor. Retests are available for $20. Reservations are required by phone for both the class and retests at (435) 275-4536, and because the sessions take place over a holiday weekend there are no refunds or changes.

The route carries a 3 rating, which makes it suitable for stock 4WD vehicles, and the experience is planned with families in mind. The group meets at the Off-Road Cars and Coffee gathering at Whammers Gas Station, then follows surface roads to the trailhead, so all vehicle types are welcome and SXS or UTV drivers will not need trailers. Bring food for the day, plenty of water and other drinks for desert conditions, and toiletries since there are no restrooms after leaving the gas station. For added comfort, bring a way to air down your tires. If you do not have the gear, equipment and guidance will be available.

Every participant will be evaluated on site by a scout connected with Pisa SC and Fiorentina, and five standout players will be invited to a free stage or tryout in Italy. Redemption Rhythms is a free music and movement class led by Ellen Raasch, a licensed educator, musician, and mother of four. Caregivers and little ones spend time singing, dancing, and playing while building rhythm and beat awareness, nurturing vocal development, and practicing fine and gross motor skills. Activities also support early literacy and encourage healthy bonding. The summer session includes a class followed by extra time to chat and enjoy snacks. It is designed for ages 0 to 5 with a caregiver, and siblings are welcome to participate. Registration is available to reserve a spot. Enjoy friendly competition on the courts while raising support for kinship families at a pickleball tournament fundraiser at Little Valley Pickleball Complex.
