“Speed Up My Computer!” Common Causes of Slow Computers and Fixes

Learn straightforward ways to address a slow computer in a class that begins with an easy to understand look at how computers work, then examines why performance often declines over time. You will practice spotting problems, managing what runs at startup, and clearing out unneeded programs and files. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and follow each step during the session.

Enjoy a relaxed evening at the pavilion in Adam's Park with casual conversation and dinner. The main dish will be provided, and guests may bring something to share if they can. Enjoy a mix of games like pickleball, basketball, and cornhole in a voice-off setting centered on American Sign Language. The focus is on signing with one another, so participants should communicate in ASL. All are welcome who are comfortable keeping voices off while playing.

Carnival fun Summer camp for ages 3 to 9

Little ones ages 3 to 9 can enjoy a carnival-themed, drop-off camp packed with make-and-take crafts, lively games, playful activities, and tasty snacks and treats. This themed session is part of the summer camps for kids at Seeds of Knowledge Learning Tree Preschool. Pricing is $15 per child for single-day camps and $30 per child for two-day options. Spots are limited, registration is by message, and an additional class may be added if there is enough interest.
