A live DJ will play favorite dance tunes, a meal will be served, and each attendee with special needs will receive a gift bag upon entry. The night features door prizes, dance contests and the crowning of a Prom King and Queen. No pre-registration is required, and attendees are encouraged to wear their Sunday best. Altra's Tyler Cash Camps

Altra is offering a trio of single-day youth camps for ages 7 to 12. Led by Altra employees, each session blends hands-on activities, games, and guided conversations that build financial understanding. Snacks, refreshments, and lunch are provided. The camp series is organized by age so participants can learn at the right pace. Ages 7 to 8 explore the basics, including coins and dollar bills, what money is and how it is made, how value works, saving, spending and sharing, and making wise choices. Ages 9 to 10 deepen their skills with budgeting and the difference between wants and needs, plus an introduction to careers at a credit union, what makes credit unions unique, and counterfeit awareness. Ages 11 to 12 focus on setting SMART goals, creating spending plans, basic credit concepts, and preparation for real-world decisions. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Special Exhibit: 4th Annual Treasures on Canvas

At the historic Goodman-LeGrand Museum, the fourth annual showcase pairs original paintings with period-inspired botanical artistry arranged throughout the house. Artists depict the home inside and out along with its artifacts, furniture, and collections, and they also present plant and animal subjects, while Victorian-inspired floral pieces made from long-lasting materials bring color to every room. Visitors can explore the displays and vote for favorites in a friendly people’s choice competition. A casual come and go reception offers a chance to meet the artists and preview the works. Some pieces may be offered for purchase, and all accepted entries remain on view for the full length of the exhibition. Creators interested in taking part can submit paintings from 5 by 7 inches up to 16 by 20, as well as botanical designs intended to keep their shape for the duration, with accepted works showcased across the museum.
