Warhammer Wednesdays
Warhammer takes center stage at MeepleCity with tables for casual play and competitive matchups, plus space for building models and painting miniatures. The event blends gaming with hobby time so attendees can battle, assemble models, and paint in one spot.
MeepleCityJune Paint Challenge! Kitbash!
This paint challenge celebrates kitbashing, inviting participants to go beyond standard painting and build something original by combining parts from multiple models. Create a one-of-a-kind model by assembling and gluing pieces in a new configuration. Finished entries should be turned in at MeepleCity by the stated deadline. A raffle for store credit will be available exclusively to participants. Direct any questions to Jackie.
MeepleCityCelebration of Champions
A three day sports skills camp presented by DC Sports ETX brings youth athletes together at Beverly Community Center for focused training, friendly competition, and confidence building on and off the field. Participants rotate through dedicated sessions in basketball and volleyball on the first day, football and track and field on the second, and softball and baseball on the final day. Coaches and sports professionals lead hands on drills, teach technique, and offer encouragement throughout. The registration fee is $30 per athlete. The experience concludes with a reception hosted by the NFL Alumni Dallas Chapter at the Hilton Garden Inn Texarkana, where all athletes are recognized. Highlights include awards, photo opportunities, community fellowship, and inspiration from former professional players. Community partners include DC Sports ETX, NFL Alumni Dallas Chapter, Byron Williams Best Wishes Foundation, Amachi Vision Corps, Beverly Community Center, and the Believe in Beverly Neighborhood Association. The camp centers on building skills and character while celebrating every participant’s achievements.
Beverly Community CenterPat & Friend Play in the Park
Families can look forward to a park gathering filled with games and activities for children, community vendors and resources, and plenty of treats. It is designed to help people connect, play, and grow together in a friendly setting. Hosted by Parents as Teacher (PAT) with Community Healthcore. Registration is available by scanning the QR code on the event flyer. Families are welcome.
