The session focuses on how to care for, store, and document treasured objects so they can be passed on to the next generation. A hands on camp invites kids to explore the science beneath their feet through discovery and play. In addition to the activities, there is creative, staff led play and time to enjoy the park with friends. The camp includes a snack and drink, hands on projects, themed activities, and plenty of fun. Students take part in activities like designing and assembling simple model rockets, creating space habitat projects, investigating gravity with demonstrations, and studying the solar system. They also complete observation-centered tasks and approachable engineering design challenges inspired by space exploration.
