The Amazing Acro-Cats, seen on the Netflix series Cat People, bring a 90 minute show to The Palace Theatre in Grapevine, Texas. This troupe of trained house cats, all former orphans, rescues, and strays, performs a variety of feats that include riding skateboards, jumping through hoops, ringing bells, balancing on balls, and other displays of agility and acrobatics. The finale features Tuna and the Rock Cats, described as the only all-cat band in the world, with feline musicians on guitar, drums, and piano, joined by the Jazz Cats on saxophone, trumpet, and clarinet. The tour supports Rock Cats Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on cat welfare, rescue, and adoption, promoting positive reinforcement training while finding homes for rescued cats. Since 2009, Rock Cats Rescue has placed hundreds of cats and kittens. A spirited youth cheer camp invites participants to build skills and confidence through coaching from professional and collegiate cheerleaders in collaboration with Express Cheer camps. Campers learn a mix of dances, chants, and age-appropriate stunts, play engaging games, and take part in team-building activities that help them make new friends. Groups are organized by grade so everyone gets the right level of challenge and support. Each day features recognition with special cheer-hair ribbons for skills, character, and behavior, and campers who receive ribbons are encouraged to wear them the following day. Every participant receives a camp T-shirt and a cheer bow, and the week wraps up with a showcase highlighting the routines learned. Supervision is provided by staff along with Marcus cheer coaches and cheerleaders, and an optional photo session with Jerry Hughes Photography is available. Themed dress-up adds extra fun throughout the week, with silly socks and a camp shirt on the first day, bright neon and plenty of sparkle on the second day, and a camp shirt with a bow on the final day. Families are asked to accompany their child on the first day to pick up the shirt and submit a signed waiver, and completing the waiver ahead of time helps speed up check-in. Comfortable athletic clothing and shoes are recommended. Please send a labeled water bottle and small nut-free snacks with your child, and label any snacks you pack. Sing Broadway! Kids Music Camp

Each day follows a routine of singing, dance and movement, hands-on crafts, and chances to play games and spend time outdoors. Participants receive a camp T-shirt, a music packet, and a reusable water bottle. The camp concludes with a performance where campers share what they have learned during the week, and friends and family are welcome to attend. Enrollment is limited to 24 campers. Open to students who will be in grades 3 through 8 during the 2026-2027 school year.

DFW Burning Soles Trail Running Series Race 2
The Burning Soles Trail Series turns up the heat in the DFW metroplex with a weekly 5K and 10K off road run on noted North Texas singletrack. This second race in the series takes place at Grapevine North Shore Trail - MADD Shelter and is designed to be beginner friendly and community focused, with well marked routes and a festive finish line atmosphere. All participants are chip timed. At your first appearance in the series you will receive a bib to use each time you race. The course follows laps of Loop 5 with a short section of Loop 6 to a natural turnaround where a water cache will be available. Races feature a mass start for each distance with all divisions starting together, and both distances share the course. The 10K wave begins first, creating a 45 minute gap to help with spacing. Distances are approximate and may vary with trail conditions. The series builds in two rain dates per round, and any weather cancellations are moved to designated make up days. Weekly podiums recognize the top three male and top three female finishers in each distance, with age group call ups as well. Divisions include 5K juniors 13 and under mixed gender, 5K under 40 men, 5K under 40 women, 5K masters 41 plus men, 5K masters 41 plus women, and the same categories for the 10K. At the conclusion of the eight week series, overall awards honor the top three in each division. Juniors 13 and under may register for the full series for $16, pre register for $20 until Monday at midnight of race week, or late register for $30. Adults 14 and up may register for the full series for $24, pre register for $30 until Monday at midnight of race week, or late register for $40.

While it serves families in Northwest ISD, Keller ISD, and Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD, participants from any area are welcome. Campers can look forward to archery, BB shooting, field sports, nature exploration, arts and crafts, and hands-on Scout skills. It is also a chance to experience Cub Scouts before connecting with a local pack. During registration, choose the rank that matches the grade the child will be entering, with Tiger for 1st grade, Wolf for 2nd, Bear for 3rd, Webelos for 4th, and Arrow of Light for 5th.
