DFW Burning Soles Trail Running Series Race 4

Race 4 of the DFW Burning Soles Trail Running Series brings beginner friendly, community centered trail racing to the Northshore Trail MADD Shelter in Grapevine. Runners can choose a 5K or 10K on well marked singletrack with an energetic finish line atmosphere. The route uses laps of Loop 5 with a short portion of Loop 6 to a natural turnaround, where a water cache will be available. All participants are chip timed, and at a runner’s first race in the series a bib is assigned for use at subsequent races. Each distance uses a mass start, and both distances share the trail with the longer race beginning earlier to create spacing. Registration options include full series, pre registration, and late registration, with juniors 13 and under priced at $16, $20, and $30, and adults 14 and up at $24, $30, and $40. Weekly podiums recognize the top three male and top three female finishers in each distance, with additional recognition for juniors 13 and under, under 40 men, under 40 women, masters 41 plus men, and masters 41 plus women in both the 5K and 10K, and the series concludes with overall awards for the top three in each division. Events are held weekly on this section of trail, rain cancellations will move to designated make up dates, and course distances are approximate based on conditions.

DFW Burning Soles Trail Running Series Race 3

Race 3 of the DFW Burning Soles Trail Running Series brings 5K and 10K options to the Northshore Trail MADD Shelter on a clearly marked course that loops through Loop 5 with a short section of Loop 6 to a natural turnaround where a water cache will be available. The terrain features North Texas singletrack and a welcoming, beginner friendly vibe with a community feel. All participants receive chip timing, and each distance uses a mass start with all divisions together. Both distances share the trail, with the 10K setting out ahead of the 5K to help create space, so runners should stay aware of others on course. Distances are approximate and may vary with trail conditions, and the finish area is set for a high energy wrap up. First time participants are issued a series bib to keep and bring back for future races. Registration options include juniors 13 and under at $16 for full series registration, $20 for pre registration, and $30 for late registration, and adults 14 and older at $24 for full series, $30 for pre registration, and $40 for late registration. Weekly podiums recognize the top three male and top three female finishers in each distance, with age group awards for both the 5K and 10K that include Juniors 13 and under mixed, Under 40 Men, Under 40 Women, Masters 41+ Men, and Masters 41+ Women. Final series awards honor the top three in each division.

DFW Burning Soles Trail Running Series Race 5

Race 5 of the DFW Burning Soles Trail Running Series brings 5K and 10K trail racing to Grapevine North Shore Trail - MADD Shelter. Expect clearly marked singletrack, chip timing for every runner, and an energetic finish area. The route traces laps of Loop 5 with a short section of Loop 6 to a natural turnaround, where a water cache will be available. The experience is community centered and beginner friendly while still engaging for seasoned trail runners. Bibs are assigned at a participant’s first race in the series and should be reused at subsequent races. Each distance uses a mass start with all divisions beginning together, and 10K runners head out before the 5K to help create space on the course, so runners should remain aware of others. Weekly podiums recognize the top three men and top three women in both distances, with age group acknowledgments for juniors 13 and under, under 40, and masters 41 plus. Series awards conclude the season by honoring the top three in every division. Registration options are available for juniors 13 and under and for adults 14 and up, including full series, pre-registration, and late registration tiers. If weather forces a cancellation, make up dates are built into the schedule. Course distances are approximate and may vary with trail conditions.

Race 6 of the DFW Burning Soles Trail Running Series features chip-timed 5K and 10K trail races on the Northshore Trail from the MADD Shelter. Courses are clearly marked and finish line energy is high on flowing singletrack.
