The HallScranton Pinball League - Season 15
This league takes place at Bartari and runs for eight weeks of competitive group play. Each qualifying week features four rounds of match play in groups of four when possible. In every group, each participant chooses one machine for the session, and points are awarded by finishing position on each game... seven for first, five for second, three for third, one for fourth, with three player groups using seven, four, one. Points add up across the season to set the standings, and after the seventh week the two lowest or missed weeks are dropped. Finals are held in the eighth week for the top eight players, with groups of four playing three games using PAPA scoring of four, two, one, zero. If a qualified player cannot attend, seeds below move up to keep the field full. For each game the highest remaining seed selects either the machine or the player order, followed by the next highest seed, and the top two in each group advance to another round with the same format. A player may choose any given game only once during the finals. Additional finals for those outside the main division will be determined by attendance. League dues are $20, plus coin drop on the machines you play. All dues are paid back in full through cash payouts, trophies, prizes, and IFPA fees. The season is supported by the Stern Army with extra prize items such as translites and other giveaways. Rulings are made by the Tournament Director following the PAPA and IFPA unified rules, and the TD has the final say on all decisions. For questions, email scrantonpinball@gmail.com.
