Harvey Clarke Elementary is offering a few openings in its after school art program for students in kindergarten through sixth grade, including those who are homeschooled. Participants should be able to arrive at the start and be picked up at the end of the program. Registration is handled online and can be completed at any time. Across a series of sessions, kids explore a wide range of media. Students experiment with gel plate techniques to make monotype backgrounds, then trace monotypes on top of those layers. Photography sessions focus on composition using small keychain cameras, with the possibility of also trying a DSLR.
