Monday Morning Downtown Clean-up - 4/27 - FCRW Earth Month 2026!

During Earth Month, you can team up with the River Friends to help keep the Chemung River free from trash. This event will kick off your week with a positive impact on our local waterways. Meet at the FCRW Office for a safety talk and to receive equipment before starting the clean-up efforts along the Chemung River. The focus will be on walkable locations in downtown Elmira. All materials will be provided, just dress in weather-appropriate clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. Registration is not required, but appreciated.
