Name That Tune Trivia

Ease into the week with a Name That Tune trivia night built around 100 songs across four rounds. Two rounds draw on tracks from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, and the other two span the 90s to the present. In each era one round focuses solely on naming the song, and another allows either the title, the artist, or both. Scores are totaled at the end to set the standings, and prizes are awarded. First place earns a $25 gift card for the restaurant, second place takes a $20 gift card, and teams finishing third through sixth receive a free appetizer. Teams can test their music memory, meet new people, and enjoy food and drinks while they play.

Exclusive Chefs Against Cancer Mahjong Evening

An evening of open play mahjong at Gourmand Market brings the community together for a meaningful cause in support of Chefs Against Cancer. Expect a relaxed, friendly atmosphere in a beautiful setting, with proceeds helping fund local cancer-focused nonprofits and families navigating a diagnosis. Beneficiaries include Xander’s Acts of Kindness, The Meggs Foundation, and The Paula Takacs Foundation, among others. Tickets are $125 per person and include nibbles and beverages throughout the event. The main bar will be open during the gathering and will remain open afterward for additional drinks available for purchase. Tables seat four, so groups should coordinate and purchase tickets together, and participants are asked to bring their own mahjong sets. Prizes add extra excitement, with offerings such as two tickets to the Chefs Against Cancer Dinner Gala, a private in-home dinner for eight prepared by Chef Mark Allison, a personal mahjong set, and additional raffles, goodies, and surprises.
