Asheville Pickleball Complex Drop-in Info Session

As part of National Pickleball Month, Asheville Parks and Recreation is sharing plans for a new 8 to 10 court pickleball complex, with Aston Park and Roger Farmer Park identified as potential locations after evaluating multiple sites. This drop-in info session at Roger Farmer Park invites input from pickleball players, neighbors, and other park users to help select a site that minimizes impacts and maximizes benefits for the community. Attendees can speak directly with designers and project team members about priorities and concerns. Complimentary transit vouchers for ART buses are available by request through parks@ashevillenc.gov or 828-259-5800. Funded by 2024 general obligation bonds approved by voters, the project focuses on supporting healthy lifestyles and social connection. A short survey on the official project page also collects feedback on site preferences, travel habits, and amenities such as lighting, shade, and landscaping.

Their duo emphasizes freedom, immediacy, and spontaneity, the same spirit captured on Sutton’s new album SPRING.
