Missoula Lolo NF Plan Revision Meeting

Hosted by Lolo National Forest, this community meeting focuses on the forest plan revision. Forest Supervisor Ben Johnson will share the latest work on the draft plan and the draft Environmental Impact Statement, and explain what the public can expect over the coming year from the land management plan revision effort. Attendees will hear a welcome and meet agency leadership and the plan revision team lead, get acquainted with Forest Supervisor Ben Johnson, learn about leadership goals for the process and for public involvement, and receive an update on recent agency changes that affect the Lolo. The agenda also features an overview of the revision process and timeline, a summary of key themes from the scoping comments, and information on continued coordination with Tribal governments, cooperating agencies, and other intergovernmental partners. A look at the range of alternatives under development and details about upcoming opportunities for public engagement round out the program.
