June Book Club at Bethel

A nationwide search grips England after the rising author and wife of a war hero goes missing. Her car is discovered wrecked and empty by a natural spring, prompting intense public attention. She later returns saying she has no memory of what happened, offers no explanation, and eventually pens an unusual book about a missing woman, a husband implicated in murder, and a scheme to reveal the truth. The tale invites discussion about the role of her unfaithful husband and what he kept from investigators.
