Park Theatre hosts a community gear swap focused on music equipment, with proceeds supporting an upgrade to the venue’s stage lighting. Musicians and audio enthusiasts can bring instruments, audio gear, and related equipment to sell or trade, or browse the selection to find new additions while connecting with fellow music lovers. Attendees may take part as buyers or as vendors with gear to offer. Buyers do not need tickets in advance, and a $5 donation at the door is suggested to help the fundraising effort. Vendors must secure tickets ahead of time. A $50 vendor ticket allows the use of one 6-foot table, while a $75 vendor ticket includes one 6-foot table provided at the event. Registered vendors will receive additional details by email. Items for sale or trade should be in good working order, and all deals are arranged directly between participants. The theatre is not responsible for exchanges. Courteous, respectful negotiations are expected, and any items not sold or traded should be packed up at the end or considered for donation to Park Theatre. Sponsorships are available at three levels. A single Presenting Sponsor at $1,000 includes two vending tables, high on-stage visibility, and recognition in marketing materials. Gold Sponsors at $500, with five spots offered, receive one vending table, strong on-stage visibility, and marketing recognition. Holland Farmers Market presents the opening session in its Market School series, an introductory class on hobby beekeeping led by expert beekeeper Donald Lam of the Holland Area Beekeepers Association. Learn how much of the food supply depends on honeybees, including many items found at the market, while gaining a clear understanding of what it takes to begin and care for a hive. The session covers essential equipment, available support networks, estimated startup costs, and the many rewards of raising bees. Participants will also explore the roles within a hive, different honey varieties, what worker bees do, and practical guidance on stings and hive safety. Donald and his wife have kept bees in the Holland area for 35 years. They provide pollination services for growers, produce honey for local stores, supply bees and equipment to area beekeepers, operate a beekeeping shop in Holland, and represent the Holland Area Beekeeping Association. Market School is a series of classes led by local experts on topics such as beekeeping, sourdough baking, healthy cooking, and more. Each class costs $20, and attendees receive a complimentary insulated tote bag valued at $10. Space is limited, so advance registration is recommended, with walk-ins accommodated if space allows. Admission is nonrefundable, but a registration may be transferred to another person or applied to a future session.

Live entertainment features Elvis tribute artist Jake Slater. Attendees can take part in two attire contests, Best Dressed Hippie for ages 13 and up and a Flower Child category for ages 12 and under. Vehicle registration is a $15 donation, with dash plaques for the first 60 entries. Eleven trophies will be awarded, including Best Hippie Car or Van and Most Patriotic, so dressing up vehicles is encouraged. A raffle is paired with a food pantry drive, offering one free raffle ticket for each donated nonperishable food or personal care item. This family friendly gathering welcomes dogs.

Each four-day session blends a daily guided project with quick mini crafts for early finishers, using acrylic paint on canvas, ceramics, wood, and more. Three themed weeks are available, featuring Beach Days and Summer Smiles, Ocean Explorers and Magical Seas, and Awesome Animals and Nature’s Helpers.
