[IN-PERSON] Books, Please! The Edward Gorey House Book Club

The Edward Gorey House Book Club gathers each month, both online and in person, to discuss a carefully chosen set of works that Edward Gorey admired, disliked, or otherwise reflected on. For Pride Month, the selection is Virginia Woolf’s Orlando, a tribute to English literary history told as a fictional chronicle through the eyes of an ageless, genderfluid poet. The book contains racist imagery, including some content of a graphic nature, so readers are encouraged to proceed with care. Tickets include an exclusive Books, Please! bookmark and an EGH bookplate, along with a 10% discount on the month’s pick at the Brewster Book Store.
