A Hundred Words for Snow

A Hundred Words for Snow, written by Tatty Hennessy and directed by Michelle Ong Hendrick, is staged on the CenterStage at the ’62 Center for Theatre and Dance as part of Summer at the ’62 Center. When fifteen-year-old Rory loses her father, she uncovers the journey to the North Pole he intended for them and decides to carry it through. Taking his ashes, a passport, and her mother’s credit card, she sets off to honor his plan. The play follows a far-reaching Arctic quest that doubles as a coming-of-age story, exploring grief, love, and the drive to discover in a world that is steadily thawing.
