Wednesdays with Friends - Paul Groves
An intimate evening in the Wednesdays with Friends series unfolds inside the Lake Area Music exhibition, blending live performance, storytelling, and conversation that spotlight local history. Host Chris Miller, a Cajun music enthusiast, musician, and advocate, guides the program with thoughtful prompts that keep the experience personal and engaging. This installment features Lake Charles native and internationally renowned opera singer Paul Groves, who leads an opera company in Baton Rouge and teaches at LSU. Hear selections from Groves, explore his passion for rock vocals, and delve into the legacy of local composer Keith Gates. The gathering takes place on the third floor of Historic City Hall.
