Make a SOLD OUT Fairy Door with Tracy at Pieces of Jayde

Create a whimsical fairy door with guidance from local artist Traci Ores in a hands-on workshop inspired by Beltane. Participants will build their door using a mix of materials and techniques to achieve a weathered wood effect, working with heavy body medium and crackle paint, then layering inks, stains, and acrylics. Final details include natural and decorative accents such as dried flowers, moss, acorns, and metal embellishments. All supplies are provided, and personal treasures are welcome if there is something special to incorporate. Traci brings over 20 years of teaching experience with learners from kindergarten through 12th grade as well as adults in community art settings. She fosters a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that encourages creative expression. Her passion for imaginative work grew even stronger after becoming a parent, and making fairy doors became a meaningful way to celebrate childhood wonder. At home, a backyard fairy garden and seasonal foraging for tiny finds like pinecones, bark, twigs, and acorns continue to inspire the designs and the creative spirit shared in this workshop.
