Friends and Family at the Front/Amigos y Familiares en la Entrada
As the school year winds down, families and friends gather in the Whittier Elementary School cafeteria to receive a door assignment, then welcome students as they arrive for the day. This event welcomes moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other caring adults who make a difference in students' lives. The focus is a cheerful start that helps every child feel safe, seen, and supported from the moment they walk in. After the greetings, coffee and bagels are served. Bring a smile and positive energy.
