Browse a cafe-side showcase of local artwork by Anna Spencer. Viewing the pieces in the cafe area is free, and reservations are available to spend time with the cats in the lounge. Every work on display is offered for purchase, with 10% of each art sale benefiting partner non-profit rescues. In addition, 20% of profits from food, beverage, and merchandise sales are donated to the same rescue partners. Anna Spencer is a self-taught painter creating since 2014. Her contemporary approach features vivid color, abstract portraiture, and modern influences. Inspired by connections to Illinois and Florida, she infuses movement, emotion, and bold expression into original works that celebrate individuality and personal stories. She is based in Urbana, Illinois.
The Scratching PostTeen Zone
Created for middle and high school students, this relaxed hangout offers an afternoon to spend time with friends and meet new people in a welcoming setting. Enjoy casual games, music, and snacks, plus time to chill and build new friendships. Admission is free. An RSVP is requested to let them know you plan to attend.
The Salvation Army Church & Worship CenterING Trivia Night
At Blind Pig Brew Hub, this team-friendly event welcomes groups of up to four. Admission is $5 per person and is paid in cash at the door. Guests can order from the menu and enjoy a selection on tap while taking part in the activities.
