Zouk dance classes (all levels)
Experience Brazilian Zouk with a welcoming evening built for every level. The flow moves from Zouk 101 for beginners to Zouk 301 focused on head movement, followed by a relaxed practica to practice, connect, and vibe, and concludes with Zouk 201 for intermediate dancers. Enjoy three hours of dancing for $15. Hosted with the Big Island Social Dance Club in Kailua-Kona, this event centers on learning, connection, and community.

Participants will meet at the Moku Ola parking lot to attach koinobori, traditional fish windsocks, to bamboo poles. HELCO and County personnel will secure the bamboo to street light poles, and additional poles will be distributed to local businesses. Flown during Golden Week in Japan, these koinobori symbolize hopes for children's strength and perseverance and are tied to the celebration of Children's Day.

A Puna Social Service Navigator and Certified Kokua Specialist will be available to offer assistance and appointment setting. Individuals can receive support with various needs including SNAP, MedQuest, the Federal Marketplace, mental health resources, domestic violence support, family services, kupuna assistance, home repair loans, volunteer opportunities, and emergency rental aid. This program is suitable for adults, and children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
