The Columbia County Chess Association hosts a Wednesday chess gathering at Cardboard Castle in Martinez, Georgia. Players can choose casual games or compete in rated sections, with time controls rotating between quick and blitz. Prizes are awarded to winners in each section. Rated play requires a $10 fee and a USCF membership. Scholastic participants in grades K through 12 can bundle a new or renewed USCF membership with all rated games for $25.

Coach Ollie leads a free BMX clinic at Blanchard Woods BMX that welcomes riders of all levels, with a special focus on beginners. Participants will cover fundamental skills, learn the basics of BMX racing, and build confidence on the track. No prior experience is required. Please bring a bike, a helmet, and a positive attitude. It is a friendly opportunity to try BMX for the first time or sharpen essential techniques while having fun.

A Commander night for Magic: The Gathering players features a Swiss-style structure with two rounds. Entry is a booster pack of your choice, and pairings will match participants with other players. A minimum of four players is required for the event to proceed. Prizes are handled at the discretion of the manager on duty while supplies last. A judge may be called at any time to resolve rules interactions, though judges will not offer strategic guidance. Trading between players is allowed, but buying or selling with anyone other than Cool Stuff Games staff is prohibited and may result in removal from the property, a permanent ban, or involvement of law enforcement. The store may limit the space used for trading, and large containers such as suitcases, handcarts, or luggage carts are not permitted for transporting extensive trade stock. Please keep food and drinks off the tables unless signage indicates otherwise. Horseplay, roughhousing, discourteous behavior, and foul language are not allowed. Report any lost or unattended items to a staff member, and have a great time.
