Celebrating its Founder’s Year, Fossil Junkies Meg Week is a five day offshore fossil diving experience focused on the search for Megalodon teeth and Ice Age fossils off Venice, Florida. Over the course of the week, thirty divers head offshore for fossil hunting with trophies and prizes, leaderboard updates each day, sponsor boats, media coverage, and an awards celebration to cap the event. Competition highlights include best quality Megalodon tooth measuring four inches or more, the largest Megalodon tooth, the most complete collection of Megalodon teeth found, the largest extinct mako tooth, best overall mammal fossil, and best recovery video.
