The hangout spot is a sandbar about 20 to 30 feet from shore where boats gather and people relax. Park amenities include restrooms and a concession stand. Arrival is flexible: walk in from land with only what you can carry and consider a float for your belongings, launch a kayak or paddleboard from roughly 30 feet away for quick access, or pull up by boat and anchor nearby. Look for the Unhinged on the Water flag to find the group. Expect an easy, friendly day of floating and hanging out that welcomes solo attendees and groups alike with a no pressure way to meet new people. Plan to bring a cooler with drinks, BYOB, plus good energy.

The Art of Hoop dance class

Experience a focused hula hoop class in a serene secret garden with plenty of lawn space for movement. The session runs for one hour, beginning with a guided moving meditation that uses muscle isolations to warm the body, then shifting into an energetic practice. Instruction emphasizes on-body hooping while also exploring a few off-body tricks. Drop in for $20, or opt for an 8-class card for $80, payable by cash, check, or Venmo. The class card can be used for any regularly scheduled class for a full year and is nonrefundable and nontransferable. Because the class is outdoors, it is weather dependent. The garden opens 15 minutes before the start, offering time to relax and socialize in a peaceful setting. Expect a strong workout, hooping can burn more than 420 calories per hour. Wear comfortable activewear, natural fibers are recommended, avoid slippery or dangling pieces, and bring water. Training hoops are provided. Team Bicycles International leads a scenic group road ride to Manasota Key, designed for a friendly mix of fitness and coastal views. Two groups roll at different paces to keep riders comfortable. The B group typically rides about 20 to 25 miles at roughly 15 to 18 mph, and the A group covers about 25 to 35 miles at 20 mph and above. Routes feature Manasota Key and surrounding roads, and may shift based on weather, traffic, or road conditions. A road bike is recommended. Fossil Junkies Meg Week 2026 Founder’s Year

Celebrating its Founder’s Year, Fossil Junkies Meg Week is a five day offshore fossil diving experience focused on the search for Megalodon teeth and Ice Age fossils off Venice, Florida. Over the course of the week, thirty divers head offshore for fossil hunting with trophies and prizes, leaderboard updates each day, sponsor boats, media coverage, and an awards celebration to cap the event. Competition highlights include best quality Megalodon tooth measuring four inches or more, the largest Megalodon tooth, the most complete collection of Megalodon teeth found, the largest extinct mako tooth, best overall mammal fossil, and best recovery video. The schedule also features a kickoff dinner with a captain’s meeting, along with daily recap videos so everyone can follow the action.

Experience an underwater fossil hunting dive in Venice, Florida, known as the Shark Tooth Capital of the World. The focus is on discovering authentic Megalodon teeth and other prehistoric treasures buried beneath the seafloor. The water is warm, so no wetsuit is needed, and visibility is well suited to spotting fossil beds. The cost is $150 per diver, and tanks and weights are included. Mesh bags are available for purchase to carry finds. If bringing personal tanks, indicate this at the time of purchase so the boat crew can be informed. Open Water Certification is required, and participants should be comfortable diving in shallow fossil beds. Space is limited. Incredible Six Group Training Paddle

Free community group paddles hosted by the Moms Incredible team offer monthly training for the Incredible Six, and all experience levels are welcome. These sessions focus on getting comfortable with ocean conditions and the race course, meeting fellow competitors, and building confidence for six miles on the water. Please be prepared to launch at the start time. If using an inflatable board, arrive early to inflate so the group can depart together. Each paddler must bring personal safety gear, including a PFD, whistle, and leash, as well as drinking water and nutrition. There will be no boat support during these trainings. Weather updates will be shared in the event, so check the night before for any changes, including a possible location adjustment due to conditions. Registration for the Incredible Six is separate, and participation is open to everyone, not only moms.
