Brévo Theatre Presents the South Florida Premiere of “The Color Purple”
Brévo Theatre mounts the South Florida premiere of The Color Purple at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center, directed by Bryan Keyth Wilson with choreography by TM Pride. The musical follows Celie over four decades as she navigates hardship, discovers her voice, and claims her power. Its score blends jazz, ragtime, gospel, blues, and African music to honor themes of hope, love, and community. Tickets are $55 for general admission or $70 for VIP, which includes one drink, cabaret table seating, and a mason jar. Select performances add special experiences, including Brunch & Blues at Harpo’s with Just Spoons Café and Celie’s Sunday Spread, a post-show dinner celebration.
