SUMMER CAMP at the Tallahassee Museum - Secure Your Spot!

Summer Camp registration at the Tallahassee Museum is open, with sessions running through August and limited availability. Guided by the museum’s educators, campers take part in a variety of experiences that build creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication. Activities range from wildlife encounters to explorations of cultural heritage for a well-rounded museum adventure. Register each child for the grade they will enter in the 2026–2027 school year. Children heading into kindergarten should be enrolled in the preschool camp. Online registration closes on the Friday prior to each camp, and space is allocated on a first come first served basis, so early sign up is encouraged. Families receive an email the Friday before camp begins with details for the week, and the Parent Handbook provides additional answers. Extended care is available for an additional fee of $10 per day or $50 per week. If a camp is full, a waiting list is available by emailing registrations@tallahasseemuseum.org with the camper’s name, your name, the grade, the week, and a reliable email address. The program allows one scheduling change if made at least two weeks before the camp date. A $25 administrative fee applies to any extra change or to changes made with less than two weeks’ notice, and a $25 fee applies to incorrect registrations. See the Summer Camp Handbook for full policies. Preschool camp welcomes children ages 3 to 5 who are fully potty trained, including those in preschool, going into VPK, and entering kindergarten. Rising 1st grade and rising 2nd grade sessions are $240 for members and $250 for nonmembers, with some weeks carrying an additional charge. Rising 3rd grade and rising 4th to 5th grade sessions are $290 for members and $300 for nonmembers, with some weeks carrying an additional charge. Third graders go on field trips on Tuesday and Thursday, while fourth and fifth graders travel on Wednesday and Friday. Jr. Counselors in Training for rising 6th to 8th graders are $90 for members and $100 for nonmembers, assist in 1st and 2nd grade classes, remain campers, and are supervised by a teacher at all times. A Counselor in Training program is also available for high school students in grades 9 through 12. Across age groups, Tree to Tree Adventure activities are integrated into the curriculum.
