Create a moonlit painting where clouds glow around a full moon and trailing blossoms frame the scene for a mysterious, nighttime mood. Enhance the experience with an optional DIY candle add-on for $25 by arriving 30 minutes early to choose from 25 fragrances and pour an all-natural soy candle that sets while you paint, so you can leave with your artwork and a custom candle. Advance reservations are recommended to secure seating and note any special requests, with payment due at booking and available online, and limited walk-ins may be accepted within 30 minutes of the posted start time. A minimum of three painters is required 24 hours in advance; if that minimum is not met, the class may be canceled and you will be notified by email or phone, then provided a studio credit valid for 60 days or rescheduled into another class on the current calendar, with no refunds offered. Adult events are for ages 18 and up. Guests under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and everyone in the studio during adult events must have a paid reservation and actively participate in painting. Wednesdays Line Dancing

Learn country line dancing at R Country Bar & Grill with Line Dancing With Faith, led by the award-winning choreographer behind the hit routine Make It Go Krazy. Instruction covers everything from fundamental steps to fresh, popular dances, and the lesson fee is $5 for three routines. A DJ keeps the music going and takes requests. Lead Foot City is hosting an after-hours autocross event. Entry is limited, and admission must be secured ahead of time since on-site sales will not be available. Come hungry, with food trucks serving and the Gear Head Grille & Bar operating. Event logistics such as grid, parking, flagging, and cone management will be handled by the Lead Foot City crew alongside volunteers, and those who wish to help can indicate that during checkout. Competition is organized into nine categories based on drivetrain and modification level: SF for stock street tire front wheel drive, SR for stock street tire rear wheel drive, SA for stock street tire all wheel drive, MF for modified street tire front wheel drive, MR for modified street tire rear wheel drive, MA for modified street tire all wheel drive, EV for electric vehicles, MCS for muscle cars in stock trim, and MCM for muscle cars that are modified.

The class also covers making fluffy flatbreads from scratch to pair with the hummus. Due to the traditional techniques used, gluten-free options are not available for this session. Designed as an accessible starting point that also welcomes experienced practitioners, the session focuses on building a personal toolkit for moments when the healing process feels challenging. The format is interactive rather than lecture based, with guided movement, breath, and quiet reflection woven through a modular hour that invites participants to notice, move, and settle. Activities include an opening and closing awareness practice, gentle movement inspired by yoga, tai chi, and qigong, focused breathing, introductory energy and acupressure techniques, sensory-awareness exercises, and meditation. Glow Dodgeball Tournament

Each matchup is decided by a best-of-three series, and a game ends once one side has eliminated every opponent. A clean catch gives a choice... either the thrower is out or one teammate returns to play. Registration is $80 per team. One teammate serves as the captain, registers the team online, then uses the Coach Portal to invite players to the roster. Every player must accept the invitation and complete their own registration to be eligible. Participants are encouraged to wear neon or white, or change into the provided glow shirt that comes with purchase. Players will sign in before matches begin.

June Flying Nidra & Sound

Alana and Christine lead a Flying Nidra and sound session that invites deep, conscious rest through Yoga Nidra. The guided journey includes setting an intention, mindful breathing, a head to toe body scan, and calm observation of sensations, emotions, and thoughts. Participants settle into aerial yoga swings suspended over their mats for full support while the space resonates with crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, an ocean drum, and Native American flute. The entry fee is $25 and includes one Collaboration Starter Deck. The top player at each table earns a prize, and participants will also vote for an MVP who helped make the match especially fun, welcoming, or exciting. HOTWHEELS SHOW in BROOKSVILLE FLORIDA

Enjoy a day of die-cast fun at an indoor Hot Wheels show in Brooksville at Andrew Jackson Post 99. The event is held inside with air conditioning, and admission for the public is free. Attendees are welcome to bring cars to trade with vendors and other collectors, with dedicated tables set aside for deals. A raffle will be held, and each guest receives a complimentary ticket upon entry, with additional chances available for one dollar each. Downhome D's food truck will serve breakfast and lunch, drinks will be available for purchase, and free popcorn will be offered. Vendors can reserve one of fifty six-foot tables for ten dollars each, with payment due one week in advance. There is a vendor-only setup period before the show opens to the public, each vendor may bring one helper, and wristbands will be used for vendor identification. Parents Night Out - Back to School Bash Pool Party

Parents can enjoy some time to themselves while kids dive into a Back to School Bash pool party at the Hernando County Family YMCA. Children spend time with peers in a structured, supervised setting focused on safe, splash-filled fun. Participants must be fully potty trained, as staff are not permitted to change diapers or assist in restrooms. Please bring a refillable water bottle, a swimsuit and towel, a change of clothes, and a bag for wet items, and leave inflatables at home. First-time participants will complete a swim test before using the pool or can choose to play on the splash pad. Dinner is provided by Padula's Pizzeria.

Oddities & Art Market Horror, Spooky, and Haunted Art Exhibit at BSBC!

Step into a market-style exhibition that celebrates the eerie and unusual, featuring oddities, art inspired by cult classic horror, wet specimens, local vendors, a food truck, and other curiosities. The brewery will also present an installation from August through the end of October, welcoming works that range from cult classics to oddity art and other macabre pieces. All submissions must arrive ready to hang or otherwise display, and each item should include a tag with a payment code at drop off. Presented by European Lifestyle Windows, Doors, and Glass Rooms together with Kevin’s Car Show, this gathering welcomes all makes and models, including cars, trucks, jeeps, and motorcycles. A total of 50 awards plus sponsor awards will be presented, with categories such as Best of Show, Manager’s Choice, Long Hauler, Best Hot Rod, Club Participation, Stock, Modified, Import, Best Truck, Best Jeep, and Best Motorcycle. Participants may enter the judged competition for $25 or display a vehicle without judging for $10, and vendor spaces are available for $25.
