Workshops & Classes

Afternoon Art Class

Young artists can explore renowned creators and the techniques behind their masterpieces. From Henri Matisse’s vibrant palettes to Vincent van Gogh’s starry skies, every week features a different figure, blending engaging stories from art history with step by step studio practice. Children dive into hands-on projects using paint, drawing, sculpture, collage, and other materials, building their own artistic voice while learning techniques and styles. Lessons link the past to the studio, showing how artists share ideas, tell stories, and respond to the world around them. By the end of the semester session, participants will have a portfolio of original work and a stronger appreciation for creativity across time and cultures. This class is for ages 5 to 14. For more information, call or text 850-774-1990.
