F3 brings Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith together in a free, peer-led men’s workout held outdoors at Veterans Memorial Park in Ocala. Exercises are scalable to any fitness level and are led by the participants, with no gym memberships and no professional instructors involved. Each session concludes with a brief time for reflection and prayer. It offers accountability and brotherhood for men who want to ground their week in fitness and faith.

Pour Your Own Epoxy™ (April 27th at Infinite Ale Works, Ocala, FL)

Enjoy a hands-on epoxy woodworking workshop at Infinite Ale Works in Ocala. Participants choose a project to create, such as an epoxy river charcuterie board, lazy susan, clock, key holder shelf, a set of coasters, or a small paired piece. Boards feature black walnut and other select hardwoods, and you can personalize your design by selecting up to two epoxy colors upon arrival. After the making session, projects cure for about a week, then move into a detailed finishing phase that typically takes six to eight weeks, with the overall timeline influenced by class size and shipping. Once complete, finished pieces are shipped to participants so they arrive in top condition. All ticket sales are final. If you cannot attend, another person may take your place. Each attendee age 12 and up needs a ticket, and a couples ticket lets two people collaborate on a single project.

She began painting in 2015 and soon sold her first pieces through a downtown gallery in Omaha, Nebraska. In 2023 she relocated to the Caribbean to focus more deeply on watercolor. She favors large formats and describes her approach as spontaneous, transparent, and guided by emotion. She now resides in Ocala, Florida, where she creates art full time. This two-hour class welcomes those who have never tried watercolor and want a calm introduction. Participants will follow step-by-step instruction to paint a robin at an easy pace in a supportive setting. All materials are included, so just bring your curiosity. Pricing starts at $45.

Salsa and Bachata Dance Classes Tuesdays Martes

Marine Habitat Restoration -- Volusia County & FL Keys (Hybrid)

Explore marine habitat restoration through a hybrid format that blends virtual instruction with hands-on experience. Interactive Zoom sessions introduce reef science and seagrass ecology, then field days at the Marine Discovery Center, Mosquito Lagoon, and sites in the Florida Keys bring concepts to life. Participants snorkel active restoration areas, visit Mote Marine Laboratory, tour FWC facilities, and learn from professionals working to rebuild coastal ecosystems. Topics include seagrass, corals, sponges, and artificial reefs, with opportunities to see restoration techniques up close and discover practical ways to contribute. Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlative

With more than five decades onstage, dozens of albums, and countless performances behind him, Marty Stuart continues to explore new musical ground. Performing with his longtime band The Fabulous Superlatives, the five-time Grammy Award winner, Country Music Hall of Famer, founder of the Congress of Country Music, and AMA Lifetime Achievement Award recipient highlights Space Junk, his first full-length instrumental album. The close-knit chemistry of Stuart, Kenny Vaughan, Harry Stinson, and Chris Scruggs drives a cosmic cowboy journey colored by surf-tinged guitar, easygoing California grooves, expressive steel, and nimble fretwork. Stuart shares that they wanted a fresh instrumental record, so they wrote twenty pieces and brought them straight to the microphones.

Ryan Devlin Quartet

The Ryan Devlin Quartet showcases the sound of an Orlando-based saxophonist and woodwind instructor whose musical roots began at home. Taught by his father, Scott Devlin, leader of the Walt Disney World Sax Quartet, he shifted from three years on piano to saxophone at age nine and has pursued his craft through daily practice, teaching, and performances. He completed a master’s in Jazz Performance at the New England Conservatory under saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi in 2023, and in 2025 accepted a full-time executive director role with Jazz Lesson Videos. His credits include featured roles with the Grammy Award winning 8-Bit Big Band, the Florida All State Jazz Band, the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Orlando Jazz Orchestra. Touring has taken him to notable rooms such as Smalls and Zinc Bar in New York City, Chris’ Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia, Sculler’s in Boston, Judson’s Live in Orlando, The Rex in Toronto, and Rudy’s Jazz Room in Nashville. Accolades include winning the Central Florida Jazz Society Scholarship Competition and placing as runner up in the Bob Washington Jazz Scholarship Competition in 2017. He has learned from and collaborated with a wide circle of respected artists, among them Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, Alain Bradette, Lucas Pino, Tedd Baker, Davis Whitfield Jr., Mike Bond, Ravi Coltrane, Steve Kortyka, Dave Pollack, Gene Perla, Adam Nussbaum, Ulysses Owens Jr., and John Lumpkin.

Dance Divine presents a narrative ballet that traces the life of the prophet Daniel, staged at the Charles R. Dassance Fine Arts Center. The story begins with Jerusalem’s conquest by King Nebuchadnezzar, the exile of select young men from Judah, and the removal of sacred temple vessels to Babylon. Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah are trained for service in the royal court and receive new Babylonian names including Belteshazzar, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, yet they remain devoted to God. Scenes portray Daniel interpreting dreams and visions, the refusal of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to bow to a golden image and their deliverance from a blazing furnace, and Daniel’s service under four kings. The production also revisits Belshazzar’s feast and the mysterious writing that foretold Babylon’s downfall, followed by Daniel’s rescue from the lions after praying under King Darius. Echoing the message of Daniel 2:20-21 about divine wisdom guiding world events, the ballet spans from Nebuchadnezzar’s era to revelations connected to Jesus Christ. This concluding solo exhibition marks the end of a two year residency at Magnolia Art Xchange. The showcase brings together paintings, selections from personal journals, a short film, and possibly excerpts from a book in progress. Through these varied pieces, two years of ideas shaped by time and place come into focus, offering a thoughtful glimpse into the artist’s creative world.

Participate in the Luau 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes prior to the race and concludes 10 minutes before the start. This is a paved course, and bathrooms are available near the playground. Runners must register online, as there will be no on-site registration. A 5K and 10K course is an out-and-back, with the 5K completing the course one time and the 10K completing it twice. The Half Marathon course is also an out-and-back, completed four times. There is a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for the Half Marathon. Finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, and a best costume contest are some of the additional highlights.

This is a one-day baseball showcase designed for high school players. Five college coaches will be available to evaluate and potentially recruit players. Young readers in grades 1 through 5 can build confidence by reading one-on-one to a friendly dog from the Humane Society of Marion County. Each session lasts one hour and begins on time. Space is limited to 12 children per session, and advance registration is required. A parent or guardian must accompany each child and remain at the shelter in a separate area while the child reads. Blues in the Box: Frank Bang | June 19 | NOMA Black Box Theater

This performance spotlights Frank Bang, a guitarist whose easygoing nature offstage contrasts with raw, emotional playing that can make you dance, cry, or simply feel deeply. In his twenties he worked at Buddy Guy’s Legends while fronting his own bands, learning from regulars such as Junior Wells, Otis Rush, and Lonnie Brooks. He went on to spend five years touring as Buddy Guy’s guitarist, a role earned through relentless effort. That same determination continues to drive him to keep playing, keep sharpening his craft, and bring unfiltered feeling to every song.

Ocala’s Bull Bash & Country Music Festival

Mark America’s 250th with a blend of bull riding and country music at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion. Advanced Sourdough Class: Art of Inclusions

Build on your sourdough foundation in a hands-on class that explores tasty additions and practical ways to bake with discard. Learn techniques for working herbs, cheese, seeds, and fruit into your dough to elevate flavor and texture. Each participant will make two full loaves with a choice of inclusions such as Everything seasoning, jalapeño cheese, cinnamon sugar, or raspberry white chocolate.
