Monday Moving Mindfulness: T’AI CHI CHIH FOR VETERANS (Class 2)
This gentle T’ai Chi Chih session is created with Veterans and their caregivers in mind. Participation for those communities is offered at no cost, with options to take part in person or online. The accessible, drug-free movements are adaptable for all abilities and are supported by research as a complementary approach for challenges common in the military community, including PTSD, serious mental health conditions, chronic pain, and more. Although it began as a free drop-in for Veterans and caregivers, the class is also open to civilians. Civilians can attend virtually for $15 per class plus a small service fee, with no contract required.

Archaeological Society of Delaware: New Castle Chapter Speaker Series
Keith R. Doms presents a summary of archaeological work conducted inside the Newlin Grist Mill, an 18th century grist mill in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, during 2020 to 2024. Archaeology within a working mill is uncommon, and this research unfolded while the rebuilding of the water box and water wheel was monitored and while flood remediation was underway. These unusual conditions revealed traces from the mill’s earliest years. The talk is sponsored by the Archaeological Society of Delaware and the Bear Public Library, and it is free and open to the public.
