A carefully curated farmers market showcases a wide range of foods and business owners, featuring fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, honey, maple syrup, mead and wine, coffee beans and loose teas, baked goods, vegan options, Connecticut food trucks and tent vendors, and artisan goods. Enjoy live music and changing weekly themes that add something new each time. SNAP/EBT is accepted, and benefits are doubled up to $30, so spending $30 with an EBT card provides an additional $30 for SNAP-eligible items. Every child in attendance receives a $3 voucher for fresh produce through the Power of Produce program.

Meet dogs seeking forever homes at a festive prom-inspired gathering featuring a participating rescue organization. Learn about ways to foster, volunteer, or contribute, and get information on how the adoption process works. To be prepared, look over the available pups ahead of time and submit an adoption application so screening can start early. If you apply and do not see a reply, check your email spam folder. An email approval is required to move forward, and messages are sent within 24 hours.
