Members of both clubs are eligible for the full Ace Pot, members of one club are eligible for half, and non members are not eligible. 2026 Yucaipa tags are available for $15 and include a sticker, and 2026 High Desert tags are $10. Entry for amateurs is $15, with $11 going to payout, $2 to the Ace Pot split between the clubs, and $2 to club support split between the clubs. A full day of barrel racing features an open 5D class that is non WCBRA, plus Extreme Barrels and Pick Up Man derby runs. Exhibitions take place ahead of the race and are offered at $5 per run. Only five riders are allowed in the arena at once, and no pedestrians are permitted inside. If a rider needs guidance, leaders may assist only up to the gate. Keep circling to one or two turns, and remember that exhibitions are for practice and letting horses see the pattern, not for all-out runs or training sessions. Exhibitions will not pause for tractor work. The open entry fee is $50, Extreme Barrels is $30, Pick Up Man is $20, and there is a $10 grounds fee. The open class follows a 5D format. Riders may share draw preferences, and efforts will be made to honor them, with priority given to those competing on multiple horses; indicate which horse should go first. Questions during the race should wait for a drag before approaching the office. In each drag, five riders enter together and must remain behind the wings against the rails at all times to avoid disqualification. Before competing in Extreme Barrels or Pick Up Man, all participants must review rules and safety with the office. The dress code requires jeans, western boots, and a T-shirt or long-sleeve shirt. Shorts, open-toed shoes, and crop tops are not allowed. Helmets are mandatory for riders under 18. Do not park along the north side of the arena, and keep the gate area clear at all times. Respect for RBM and PE staff is required, and drama is not permitted. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in disqualification and potential restriction from future events.
