Retro Skate Party
Turn the rink into a time capsule at USA’s Skateland Mesa as the best of the 80s and 90s pumps through the speakers. Glide in your favorite retro gear, from neon accents to big hair flair, and soak up the throwback atmosphere. Admission is $8, skate rental is $5, and non-skating adults are $4. Wristguards are required and provided at no charge. Outside food and drinks are not permitted. Discounted rates are available for groups of 10 or more, and there are options for birthday parties and fundraising events.
Skateland MesaIndoor PADEL Classes (FREE)
Try padel, a fast growing and social sport that is easy to pick up at any age, with no experience required. Start with a free class, then receive passes for three additional classes and four free matches after you attend. No equipment or special clothing is needed, and racquets are provided at no cost.
League of Dreams Film Screening
Presented by the JACL Arizona Chapter, this special screening features League of Dreams, a new film from Lane Nishikawa that follows 97 years of the Japanese American Citizens League. The film highlights the organization’s role as the country’s oldest and largest Asian American civil rights group.
Majestic Neighborhood Cinema GrillMediumship Psychic Development Weekly Practice Group – led by Tina Escoto ($15/person)
