Music on Main brings free live performances to Opera House Square in downtown Oshkosh, showcasing a rotating slate of local and regional artists. This concert features Reverend Raven with West Side Andy. Pick up food or a beverage from nearby restaurants and settle in for an evening of music in the square. The series offers a variety of musical styles and also includes several midday, family-focused shows. Presented by Alexander & Bishop, with additional support from The Grand, Megan & Peter Lang, Olson Legal, and Generac. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.

SpeedPlay 2026

SpeedPlay delivers a mix of track workouts and running drills designed to help you become faster, stronger, and more efficient. It is designed for anyone who can complete a 2-mile run or walk at any pace and is looking for a fresh challenge. Sessions build execution skills for tackling unique track efforts at higher intensities, reinforce form and efficiency so strong mechanics hold up under fatigue, and share race preparation guidance on hydration and pacing for faster racing. Recovery and maintenance are part of the experience, with dynamic warm-ups, cool-downs, and body care techniques. The program takes place at Neenah Middle School and is supported by New Balance. Exploring Boro & Sashiko Stitching

Learn practical and decorative hand stitching in a workshop focused on visible mending and embroidery enhancement. Explore Boro, a Japanese method that layers patches and uses simple running stitches to reinforce garments while honoring the history of the cloth. Practice Sashiko, recognized for its steady needlework and repeating geometric designs, often worked with white thread on dark fabric to add both strength and style. The session also introduces darning and weaving to visibly repair or replace worn areas. Bring a favorite item to mend or embellish. Instruction and materials are provided, including fabrics, Sashiko thread and templates, embroidery floss, embellishments, scissors, and sewing needles. Registration is offered as a single session for $12, a five-session punch card for $50, or a ten-session punch card for $90. Participants can choose sessions that fit their schedules, receive a reminder email beforehand, and are encouraged to confirm attendance so organizers can prepare. Advance registration or cash for drop-in is accepted. Ages 16 and up are welcome, and younger participants may attend with a parent or guardian.

Future Neenah Evening Concert

Grand Union brings a high-energy blend of country and rock to Shattuck Park as part of the Future Neenah Evening Concert Series, made possible with presenting support from Richard and Amy Jo Aylward. Admission is free thanks to Floors by Angie. Expect a set that ranges from classic country favorites to current chart-toppers delivered with a rock and roll edge. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Chihuas Tacos, The Wandering Table, Grazing a Go Go, and Crazy Sweet. Attendees can bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating. Per City of Neenah ordinance, alcohol is not permitted at Shattuck Park. Free parking is available nearby, including street spots, tower lots, and city surface lots. If weather becomes a concern, the performance will move indoors to the DoubleTree Neenah Hotel. Additional support comes from the Jewelers Mutual Impact Fund within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region as stage sponsor, along with Anderson Sod Farm, Portside Builders, Badger Labs, and the Neenah Boat & Dock Club. The park sits in the heart of Downtown Neenah, where restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance.

NEW Top Dog Beer Release Party at Fox River Brewery

Celebrate the winners and community impact of the 2026 NEW Top Dog contest with the debut of Toby’s Mr. 305 Sour, a tropical sour brewed with passionfruit, key lime, and papaya. The celebration takes place on the riverfront patio at Fox River Brewery. Representatives from Unforgettable Underdogs will be on site to share information about their work for pets in the community. Guests are welcome to bring their dogs, especially those that participated in the contest, for a casual gathering centered on the new release, friendly conversation, and support for animals in need.

Hold Your Horses Camp

Designed for teens ages 12 to 18, this equine camp offers hands-on time with horses while building confidence, teamwork, and practical life skills. Participants learn how to groom, lead, saddle, and ride, help with daily horse care and barn activities, take part in team-building exercises, discuss relevant teen topics, and enjoy creative arts and crafts. Musical Movers Storytime (ages

Young children can enjoy music, bubbles, and stories with Miss LoriAnn and Miss Katrina while building language, spatial awareness, and motor abilities. Pulling the Past from Lake Winnebago

View artifacts recovered from Lake Winnebago. Magnet fisher Aaron Moureau used magnet fishing to retrieve items that have ended up in the lake and rivers. This method involves using a magnet to gently pull items from the water. In addition to removing debris and making the water safer, the recovered items may also reveal some hidden local history. Aaron began magnet fishing in 2023 after watching videos. He met Ed the Diver and liked the idea of helping keep the waters free of metal and debris. He learned how to tie knots, where to find metal, and where to recycle it by meeting with other magnet fishing groups in Oshkosh.

The plein air festival returns with an opening at The Paine Art Center and Gardens. It later concludes with a reception and painting sale at Evergreen in the Worship & Performing Arts Center.

Tween Create Lab: Pom-Pom Pals (ages 9 & up)

Ages 9 and up can dive into a hands-on craft session that turns fluffy yarn into pom-pom pals, from turtles and hedgehogs to fish and monsters. All supplies are provided, so participants only need to bring their creativity. This is a drop-in program, and no registration is required. Please arrive with enough time to complete your creation. Menasha native Jim Boland will appear at Caramel Crisp Bookstore for a relaxed book signing, followed by a brief reading and a question-and-answer session centered on his new release, "The Black Egg Children." Written for middle readers and young adults, the story is set in Menasha and follows Rachel, a teenager who inherits a two thousand year old legacy. She must learn to command the elemental magic of the seasons and help protect Earth’s delicate balance while navigating the challenges of adolescence. The event features an informal signing before the reading and Q&A focused on The Black Egg Children.

Fish Fry Fridays brings a hearty seafood spread to Oshkosh Arena's 1212 Sports Pub & Grill, with the entrance on the northeast corner of the building. Choose from three fish dinners, each priced at $15.95, featuring lake perch, bluegill, or Southern-style catfish. Every plate includes your choice of crispy fries or steak fries, plus cheddarhead biscuits, rye bread, coleslaw, and tartar sauce made in house. A rotating seafood special is offered each week, along with a two for one drink deal on domestic draft beer and rail mixers. New this season are cheddarhead biscuits, Bavarian pretzel bites, and mozzarella sticks. An early Ed Wood feature, from the director of Plan 9 from Outer Space, screens at Time Community Theater. The story begins when a police inspector investigates the suicide of a person known for cross-dressing and consults a psychiatrist, who shares two case narratives. In one, Glen struggles with how to tell his fiancée Barbara that he longs to wear her angora sweater. In the other, Alan chooses surgery to live as a woman, a plot inspired by the contemporary story of Christine Jorgensen. Commentary from Emperor Jonwayne Frankenstein is likely, and a small prize may make an appearance. All purchases at the theater are cash only.

Fire Escape Art Camps (Age 7 and up)

Fire Escape presents single day art camps for ages 7 and up, each built around a unique theme that guides two to three creative projects. This session focuses on fruit in a lively pop art style, encouraging campers to turn everyday produce into bold, colorful pieces with acrylics and mixed media. The day includes a lunch break, and it concludes with Makers Hour, an open creation time with plenty of supplies for imaginative projects. Campers attending multiple days can bring works from Makers Hour to continue developing them. The fee is $72 per camp, with an optional lunch available for $12, or participants may bring their own. Bringing a water bottle is encouraged. Project plans may shift based on material availability, and some pieces may require firing before a return visit to finish painting.

Free Outdoor Family Movie Night

Enjoy a free showing of Trolls under the stars. Gates open early, and the movie begins at dusk. There will be face painting and a food truck. Additionally, representatives from the Oshkosh Public Library will be present to promote their summer reading program.

Pulling the Past from Lake Winnebago

See a display of interesting items taken from Lake Winnebago. These artifacts were collected by Aaron Moureau, who uses magnet fishing to find objects in lakes and rivers. This method involves using a strong magnet to gently extract items from the water. In addition to cleaning up the waterways, the recovered items offer a glimpse into the history of Oshkosh. Moureau began magnet fishing in 2023 and has since connected with other local groups to learn more about the hobby.

Glass Studio Class: Intro to Flameworking 6/28

Build a solid foundation in flameworking with an emphasis on safe techniques for working with hot glass. Guided by Beth Wenger-Johnstone, you will craft your own glass beads and practice shaping additional small objects. The class accommodates all levels of experience.

This relaxed Udderly Euro gathering takes place in Bergstrom Towers and sets a calm, easygoing tone.

The Birdcage

The Birdcage screens on the big screen at Time Community Theater. A gay cabaret owner and his drag queen companion pretend to be straight so their son can introduce them to his fiancée's right-wing politician parents, delivering plenty of jokes along the way. The film is rated R. All purchases at the theater are cash only. Ticket pre-sales are cut off ahead of the show because of the venue's low-tech setup and all-volunteer staff. There might even be a prize, though it may be modest.

Designed for children ages 5 to 6, this Menominee Park Zoo camp invites young explorers to connect with wildlife, habitats, and conservation through playful, hands-on learning. Guided by experienced educators, campers explore the zoo, build friendships, and gain a look at the daily care that keeps animals healthy, including feeding, cleaning, and observing behaviors. Each session features a different theme tailored to this age group. Children tour the grounds, create enrichment items, and watch animals engage with what they made. They try out zookeeper tasks focused on husbandry. They meet ambassador animals, enjoy a themed story, and complete a coordinating craft. Nutrition takes center stage as kids help assemble sample meals and see how diets differ among species. Activities also highlight the remarkable adaptations that help animals survive. A tracking adventure turns campers into detectives who search for prints, make their own, play nature games, and discover what tracks can reveal. Families may choose one or multiple sessions. The fee is $25 per session, and registration includes a drawstring backpack, a T-shirt, a water bottle, and a snack.

Family Program: Taking Flight with EAA

A family program in partnership with EAA invites participants to explore the science of flight by building and launching an air launched rocket, with all materials provided. No registration is required. Activities are designed with ages 5 and up in mind, and all ages are welcome. For children under 9, a parent, caregiver, or responsible older child must remain within sight and sound. The program is planned for the outdoors in Shattuck Park, and if weather is poor an alternative activity will be offered in the Shattuck room in the Youth department on the first floor. Studio Assistant Camp (Fire Escape)

Curious about what it takes to work at Fire Escape? This new camp offers a hands-on, mini internship experience in Oshkosh for ages 10 to 14. Participants begin by learning about the kiln and how finished customer pieces are unloaded. Tasks vary to reflect a real shift, and may include helping with customer pickups, refilling paint, making a personal name tag, and cleaning brushes and tables, with a pace similar to a restaurant environment. Enrollment is limited to 2 or 3 campers who shadow a staff member throughout the session. That team member serves as additional support for the day and provides focused guidance while sharing the studio’s inner workings. The cost is $48. Bring a lunch or snack.

Explore the art of hand stitching in a workshop focused on visible mending and embroidery enhancement. Learn how boro, a traditional Japanese approach that layers patches and uses simple running stitches, can reinforce garments while honoring the story of everyday wear. Discover sashiko, which takes its name from the small, rhythmic stitches often seen as white thread on dark fabric in repeating geometric designs, adding both strength and decoration. The session also covers darning and weaving to visibly repair or replace worn areas, ideal for refreshing well loved jeans, jackets, and other favorites. Bring clothing you would like to patch, mend, or embellish. Hold Your Horses Neurodiversity Camp

An equine day camp created for neurodiverse teens and teens with diverse abilities, ages 12 to 18. Participants receive added support in a flexible setting while building confidence, practicing life skills, and connecting with peers through hands-on time with horses. Activities include grooming, leading, saddling, and riding, along with lessons in horse care and barn responsibilities. The day also features team projects, discussions on topics that matter to teens, and creative arts and crafts. A snack is provided. This is one day of a three-day camp experience. Attending all three days is recommended for the most complete program. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Fire Escape Art Camps (Age 7 and up)

Fire Escape offers single-day summer art camps, each built around a unique theme with two or three hands-on projects to match. This session is for ages 7 and up and brings a summertime spin to holiday crafting with ornament and tree-inspired creations. Enrollment is limited to 18 participants. The day includes a lunch break around midday and concludes with an open creative hour when campers can use provided supplies to make whatever their imagination sparks. Those attending more than one session may carry works in progress from that creative time to future camps to continue developing them. The cost is $72 per day. Lunch can be added for $12 or brought from home, and campers are encouraged to bring a water bottle. Project plans may change if materials are unavailable, and some pieces may need to be fired and finished with paint on a later visit.

Babytime Storytime (ages 0-12 months)

Designed for babies from birth to 12 months and their caregivers, this gentle storytime focuses on bonding through talk, touch, singing, and play. Through repetition and simple movements, participants learn songs, rhymes, and bounces that support early literacy and connection. The guided portion runs about 20 minutes, followed by unstructured playtime that encourages social interaction for both babies and adults. Registration is not required. Glass Studio Class: Reactive Glass 7/02

Explore how silver foil interacts with kiln formed glass to produce vivid reactions such as shifting colors and luminous halos. Students will work with reactive glass and silver foil to practice these techniques and complete a project. Finished work can be sized at 6.5 by 6.5 inches or 4 by 11 inches. Each date in this series is a standalone experience with a unique theme that inspires two to three projects. The day includes a midday lunch break. The Tuesday Night Concert Series at Leach Amphitheater features Bella Cain in a free installment of Live at the Leach. This Top 40 country group blends in other styles and showcases four to five part harmonies, piano, steel guitar, fiddle, male and female vocals, and a big guitar sound for an energetic performance. She Plays Flag Camp

She Plays Flag Camp offers an elite, skills-focused training experience led by the UW-Oshkosh flag football staff. It is designed for athletes at any stage who want to compete at the highest level and work toward playing at the next level. Participants will showcase their abilities while competing against one another.

WI ACL Interstate - All States Eligible

At Oshkosh Arena, this Interstate ACL competition features singles, doubles, and divisional blind draws organized by tier. Singles and doubles begin with a two game warm up round robin, then continue in a double elimination bracket, and Rounders are not used. Warm ups are limited to five rounds in singles and ten in doubles. Seeding is determined by Open points. Singles for Tiers 1, 4, and 5 are planned for Saturday, with Tiers 2 and 3 singles later that day. Divisional blind draws for Tiers 1, 3, and 4 also take place Saturday. Divisional doubles for Tiers 1, 2, and 4 are set for Sunday, and start times may change. Registration must follow ACL CPI. If a CPI has not been established, contact Stacey Washa or Brett Gallens to confirm placement, and competing below an established CPI is not permitted. In singles and doubles, players may move up a tier but not down. For doubles, partners must both fit within the tier’s CPI range or lower, and playing down is not allowed. For blind draws, entries must fall within the posted CPI band, and playing up is not allowed. Entry fees are as follows. Doubles: Tier 1 is 120 dollars, Tier 2 for 7.50 CPI or lower is 100 dollars, and Tier 4 for 6 CPI or lower is 80 dollars. Singles: Tier 1 is 50 dollars, Tier 2 for 8.25 CPI or lower is 40 dollars, Tier 3 for 7.25 CPI or lower is 35 dollars, Tier 4 for 6.25 CPI or lower is 30 dollars, and Tier 5 for 5.25 CPI or lower is 25 dollars. Divisional blind draws: Tier 1 for 7.00 to 12 CPI is 50 dollars, Tier 3 for 5.50 to 7.00 CPI is 40 dollars, and Tier 4 for 5.50 CPI or lower is 30 dollars. Listed prices include a 10 dollar discount for ACL members at Gold level or higher, and in doubles both partners must hold Gold or higher to receive the listed rate. Darkness faces a surge of lightning in this prerelease for the Mega Evolution: Pitch Black expansion, as Mega Darkrai ex rises from the shadows and Mega Zeraora ex answers with powerful electric attacks, joined by Mega Chandelure ex, Mega Excadrill ex, and more. Build and Battle Boxes for this set include four Mega Evolution: Pitch Black booster packs, a 40 card deck assembled from cards across current and earlier expansions, and one of four foil promo cards that could feature Miraidon, Slowbro, Dhelmise, or Bastiodon. Hosted by Four Wheels Photography, Excel Wrap Styling, and Cereal Boxx, the gathering welcomes families and enthusiasts, with vehicles of any make or model encouraged to participate. Cereal Boxx will serve drilled ice cream, music sets a relaxed vibe, and there are plenty of chances to capture photos and create shareable content. Celebrate the holiday spirit in the middle of summer with a hands-on fused glass class. Autism Equine Camp invites autistic children to connect with horses while building confidence through hands-on activities. Instruction is provided by certified professionals, an occupational therapist, and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, with experiences tailored to each child’s strengths and needs. XRoads41 Music Festival is a music and camping experience in Wisconsin featuring performances by Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, Zac Brown Band, Treaty Oak Revival, Wiz Khalifa, Flatland Cavalry, Jackson Dean, Wyatt Flores, Braxton Keith, Tracy Byrd, Josh Ross, David Lee Murphy, Preston Cooper, Lauren Watkins, Lanie Gardner, Blake Whiten, Noah Rinker, Caroline Jones, Ian Harrison, Sterling Elza, Landon Parker, Mary Kutter, Grand Union, and KC Johns. Three-day tickets and campsites are available. A no interest payment plan is offered for all tickets and campsites, and a deposit under $18 can hold a three-day ticket. Ticket prices will increase, so purchasing early secures the best available rate.

Tween Create Lab: Build-a-Board Tic Tac Toe Edition (ages 9 & up)

Designed for ages 9 and up, this hands-on program invites participants to design and create a personalized tic-tac-toe game. Using wood rounds, stones, and paint pens, each person can craft a custom board and pieces. The activity takes place in the Shattuck room, and no registration is required. Stars of Tomorrow: 65th Anniversary Futurity Show

Marking its 65th year, this futurity show features a full slate of competition with 29 POA futurity classes and 17 all-breed futurity and jackpot classes, with cash awards available. The regular showbill is restricted to ponies registered with POA. Judges for the show are Todd Foltz, Nell Tekampe, and Kirsten Mellenberger. Fees include a National POA fee of $21 per pony, a Wisconsin State POA fee of $12 per pony, and a $10 show office fee per horse. Regular classes are $15 per class, or choose a $255 all-weekend option per pony and rider that covers class entry fees only. Futurity entries are $30 per class at the early rate or $40 per class at the late rate. For classes that run at the same time as the futurity, exhibitors must enter and pay both the regular class fee and the futurity fee. Stalling is $80 per pony stall and $80 per tack stall, each including two bags of shavings, with additional shavings available for $8 per bag. Ponies staying overnight must be stalled, and extra shavings should be requested in advance on entry forms. Camping is available at $35 per night with electrical service or $25 per night without, and a haul in or tie out option is $15 per day. Office hours may change based on the secretary’s availability, and early arrivals are not permitted. The official show bill and entry forms will be released soon.

2026 TWL UTV SHOW

TWL Powersports in Oshkosh hosts a UTV showcase that highlights everything from custom builds to stock rides. Owners may display their machines, and visitors can explore the lineup and vote for a favorite. The top pick earns $500 in store credit and a trophy, and the runner up receives a large cooler. Kat's Kafe and Global Eats food trucks will be on site with food and refreshments. An RSVP is requested so organizers can plan for the number of vehicles and attendees.

WCCS 4.0

WCCS 4.0 is a family friendly, Christ centered car show at Wyldewood Baptist Church. The showcase welcomes vehicles from the earliest years of motoring to modern models, along with trucks and vintage tractors. Awards include the big five trophies with pastors choice, spectators choice, kids choice, best of show, and recognition for the furthest distance traveled. It is presented as an enjoyable day for all ages.

CornRoast Volleyball 2026 features competitive play and free sweet corn. The lineup includes Men’s and Women’s Triples, Co-Ed Quads, and Co-Ed Sixes. Triples offers an Upper A division at $105 per team and a Lower option at $90 per team, with Men’s Lower and Co-Ed Lower split into B and BB. Co-Ed Quads is $120 per team with Upper and Lower brackets, and Co-Ed Sixes is $160 per team. A cash prize is available for A, while B receives gift cards and other prizes. Glass Studio Class: Garden Yard Art 8/11

Participants create a colorful glass accent for a planter or garden with instructor Taylor Moeller-Roy. Each piece is kiln fused, then a metal rod is attached so it can be displayed in a potted plant, the garden, or the yard. The finished glass measures 4 by 11 inches, and the rod is 18 inches long. After the activity, firing may take up to three and a half weeks, and an email will confirm when the project is ready for pickup.

Historical Walking Tour of Downtown Oshkosh

Explore downtown Oshkosh on a guided history walk with the Winnebago County Historical Society. This tour shares the people, places, and pivotal moments that shaped the city, from the most raucous saloon and its betting den to a gripping custody case from the 1850s. Learn about trailblazing women physicians and the first appearances of X-ray technology, and hear about an early automobile showroom connected to stories known across the nation, along with other discoveries along the way. The route covers about 1.3 miles and lasts roughly two and a half hours. After the walk, enjoy pie and ice cream at the historic Morgan House.

Cookbook Book Club: Fruits and Veggies

Central Wisconsin Auto Collectors 44th Annual Benefit Car Show

Returning for its 44th year, the Central Wisconsin Auto Collectors Benefit Car Show brings a full day of cars, awards, and activities to Brennand Airport. Onsite registration is available for $10 per vehicle, and dash plaques will be given to the first 250 participants. The show features eighteen judged classes, including Best of Show and a newly added motorcycle class, with three trophies awarded in each category. Winners need to be present to claim awards. Music will be provided by DJ Gold Medal Sound. Attendees can also enjoy airplane displays, food and beverages, a 50/50 raffle, and door prizes offered throughout the event. Dark Nights bingo returns to The Black Box Bar & Lounge at The Grand at UW Oshkosh with an evening of 10 games, ending with a blackout round. The typical cost is $15 per person, which covers one sheet with three cards for all games including blackout. Players can choose larger sheets at $25 for six cards or $30 for nine. Extra blackout cards are available at $2 for three, $4 for six, or $6 for nine. The usual payout for the night is $550. A 50/50 raffle takes place after the fifth game.
