Homemade Sweetness Stamp a Stack of Cards Card Class - In Person — Cards by Christine

Join an in-person class where you will make 15 A2 size cards, with five different layouts, making three of each design. Those who register will receive the materials to make the cards plus Homemade Sweetness DSP, Misty Moonlight & White Ribbon Combo Pack, Strawberries & Dots, and 15 white envelopes. You will keep whatever is left over to make lots more cards by adding your own card bases, mats, and labels. Various sentiment stamps, inks, and adhesives are needed to complete the cards. Always bring scissors, different adhesives, and a stella pen if you have one.

2026 Lake Lit Write-Ins

Are you looking for quiet camaraderie and a peaceful environment to work on your writing? Join fellow writers for an evening of writing using the Pomodoro technique, which involves 25 minutes of writing, followed by 5 minutes of rest, repeated for three hours. Refreshments are provided. Please respect the venue’s policies, including its loitering rules, and note that seating may be set aside for guests who help support the event so it can continue. The lineup includes Lucia's Cocina, The Wandering Table, Caribbean Taste, Big Blue Yummy, Bumbleberry Bakery, Busted Spud, Kickin Ash BBQ, Citrus Cart, MeowMeow Sushi, and Bowlicious Eats.

Hanging Basket Workshop

Celebrate the season with a relaxing, hands-on workshop at Stuart’s Landscaping & Garden Center. Spend a little time on the outdoor patio and browse the greenhouse, then create a custom hanging basket with help from knowledgeable staff. Choose a coco-lined basket or a wicker cone and pick from a wide selection of annual flowers while receiving guidance on plant pairings, design, and what will thrive in the conditions where your basket will hang. Learn care and placement tips to keep your display looking its best. Finished baskets can stay in the greenhouse to grow for a while and must be picked up by Mother’s Day. Space is limited to 20 participants, and a $20 down payment is required to reserve a spot. This project also makes a thoughtful gift for Mother’s Day.

Parents and Caregivers Scrapbooking Class

Set aside dedicated time to reflect, connect, and capture the journey of raising a child with additional needs. This scrapbooking class welcomes parents, guardians, and family members ages 14 and up to share experiences with peers who understand, while turning meaningful moments into keepsakes through collage and conversation. Bring photos that celebrate your child and your family’s milestones, then embellish them with stickers, glitter, and more. Every milestone is welcome and creativity can be as simple or as detailed as you like. Basic supplies are provided, and you are welcome to bring any materials you already have. Childcare is available during the class for an additional fee. Cost is $10 per attendee and $20 per child.

Agnes of God

Impact Theatre Company presents Agnes of God at the Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts. The play centers on a young novice who unexpectedly gives birth in a convent, then insists she has no memory of how it happened. After the infant is found dead, a court-appointed psychiatrist begins an inquiry that puts faith, evidence, and lived experience in sharp relief. Three women... the Mother Superior, the doctor, and the novice... grapple with belief, memory, and responsibility as they seek the truth. This psychological drama explores the charged intersection of religion and science while preserving the mystery at its core. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online or at the door. One performance offers a pay-what-you-can option with first come, first served seating. The production features artists from the Fond du Lac community.

Envision THIS! High School

Hosted in the Community Room at Friendship Learning Center, this business pitch showcase spotlights Fond du Lac County high school entrepreneurs as they present their ideas. The event concludes with cash awards recognizing first, second and third place.

Storytime

This storytime for children ages 3 to 7 at Lavish Coffee features Grammy Seibel reading favorite picture books, followed by a related activity for kids. It takes place in the large meeting room beside the toy room. Parents are encouraged to sit in or stay nearby. The cafe will also introduce a few new kid friendly options on the lunch menu that day.

Bones for Life / ATM Class

Held at the Fond du Lac Family YMCA, this class explores slow, easy movements practiced while standing, seated in a chair, or lying down. CMN Brat Fry Fundraiser

A community brat fry and raffle raises funds for Children's Wisconsin, with every dollar from food and raffle sales going directly to the cause. The Children's Wisconsin Foundation recognized the 2025 effort as a top fundraiser, and RE/MAX Heritage and its agents have provided more than $165,000 in support since 2009 to help kids and families across the state. Opening Reception: Fragmented and Shadows in Bloom

An opening reception introduces two new exhibitions. Fragmented brings together multiple artists who explore the idea of fragmentation across a range of mediums. Shadows in Bloom features works by mixed media artist Sarah Nguyen, who primarily works with paper, with storytelling at the core of her hand-cut fiber panels and paintings. Admission is free and all are welcome. The first 30 guests will receive a free collectible.

Family Meditation Class

A meditation class created in response to requests for a child-friendly space welcomes parents and kids, while remaining open to adults who attend on their own. It is designed to help households that are always in motion slow down together, shift from reflexive reactions to thoughtful responses, and support overall well-being by easing the effects of stress on the body. The session opens with a gentle family check-in that encourages curiosity without judgment about how everyone is arriving. Brief teachings highlight how mindfulness can support school life, relationships, and handling conflict. Participants explore three everyday pause practices: the 2-Minute Brain Dump to clear mental clutter, the 2-Minute Thank-You to cultivate gratitude, and a thought-visualization exercise that treats passing ideas like writing that appears and fades in sand. A larger at-home somatic tool is introduced to help calm the nervous system through presence rather than control, turning daily routines into moments of sanctuary even when life feels busy. The class concludes with about 20 minutes of crystal singing bowls to settle the mind and open the heart, leaving participants with clarity, steadiness, and a renewed sense of compassion and wonder. The format keeps everyone from sitting in one position for long, and it emphasizes learning skills early that build emotional and physical awareness so people of all ages can respond instead of react.

In the Gallery: Shadows in Bloom

Shadows in Bloom presents the work of Sarah Nguyen in the gallery, showcasing a mixed media practice centered on paper and storytelling. Her hand cut fiber panels and paintings highlight narrative themes throughout the exhibition. The galleries are free to visit, with regular hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and additional access during public events. An opening reception takes place in the Susan O. Ahern Contemporary Wing Gallery. Nguyen’s work has been featured at institutions including Seattle’s Wing Luke Museum of Asian Pacific Experience, the Daum Museum, Pyramid Hill Sculpture Grounds and Museum, the Truman Museum, Cheekwood Estates & Gardens, and Kansas City’s 2018 Open Spaces. Her background includes artist residencies and teaching as a visiting artist in Serbia, Bulgaria, Japan, France, and across the United States. She holds a BFA in Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA in Painting from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

FdL Bird Walks 2026

Designed for beginners and seasoned bird watchers alike, this series of guided outings in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin celebrates World Migratory Bird Day. Three separate walks highlight different habitats and species. At Lakeside Park West, the route follows the Lake Winnebago shoreline and continues along the boardwalk into Supple’s Marsh, with chances to see migrating songbirds and waterfowl and possibly a few bats. Camelot Business Park features migrating and resident passerines and waterfowl, with the possibility of eagle and osprey overhead. The Greenway Arboretum offers additional birding among its trails. The Bird City flag marks the meeting point at each location. All walks are led by Kerry and Dave Sehloff.

Dave Steffen Band

The Dave Steffen Band delivers a live show shaped by a lifetime in music. Admission is $10 at the door. Fronted by Dave Steffen, the group draws on ten albums and thousands of performances, with a career that began when he signed his first record deal at fifteen. Years devoted to playing and recording inform a set built on skill, experience, and commitment to the craft.

Friday Night Magic - Commander

Friday Night Magic features Commander pods with a $7 entry fee. Each participant receives a pack and a promo while supplies last. Every weekly pod names a winner who earns $15 in store credit. Play is organized into two tracks, Casual-Competitive in brackets 1 through 3 and CEDH in brackets 4 through 5. Returning weekly builds toward end-of-month prizes, with a play booster box of the most recent Standard set awarded to the Casual-Competitive track and six collector booster packs awarded to the CEDH track. This is a sanctioned event, so proxies and gold-border cards are not permitted. For the final monthly pod, players must use the same unaltered deck that won their weekly pod.

Mommy + Me Spa Weekend

Wellness 360 Spa at Hotel Retlaw is offering a Mommy + Me themed weekend that blends pampering with a lively, welcoming vibe. The centerpiece is a 30 minute Signature Facial for $60 per person, created for mothers and daughters, friends, loved ones, or anyone who prefers a solo self care treat. The lounge will feel more upbeat than usual, encouraging conversation and connection, while quiet areas remain available for those who want a calmer experience. World Migratory Bird Day

At Greenway Arboretum, celebrate the birds found in the area while learning how the surrounding habitat supports them. The experience focuses on observing and appreciating local birdlife, so bring binoculars and wear comfortable footwear suited for spending time outdoors.

Bird Walk

Join Kerry and Dave Sehloff for a bird walk. The group will meet at the Dog Park and walk along the shore, following the path to the Boardwalk into Supples Marsh. This is a great opportunity to see spring migrants traveling along the lake shore and migrating waterfowl. The event is open to all ages.

Baby Farm Animal Barn

Kelley’s Farmstead invites you to their farm for their 6th Annual Baby Farm Animal Barn. Visit a working farm for a hands-on experience with new baby farm animals. You can hold lambs, nuzzle a bunny, snuggle a piglet, listen to a calf moo, chirp with the chicks, cuddle a goat, pet a donkey, or quack like a duck. Barnyard activities, weather permitting, include a corn box, steer lasso, and photo opportunities. Paintball is available for an additional cost. There is a new handicap accessible sidewalk to get to both upstairs and downstairs of the barn and more outdoor activities. Souvenirs, apparel, and treats are available for purchase.

2026 Downtown Fond du Lac Beer & Bourbon Crawl

Downtown Fond du Lac businesses transform into tasting rooms for a crawl where ticket holders can sample a range of beers, bourbons, and nonalcoholic beverages. Each stop offers its own mocktail recipe or other N/A option along with a beer or bourbon selection. With choices at every location, groups can explore flavors together and find something for everyone.

Commander Free Play

This event offers casual Commander play with no entry fee. Pods start on demand as groups form. Each participant receives a promo while supplies last.

Kentucky Derby Party

A Choral Journey Through American Music

South Shore Chorale presents a sweeping program of American choral traditions performed by 180 voices. The concert traces musical threads from the colonial era and songs born out of slavery to shape note hymns, jazz, wartime repertoire, the radio age, rock and roll, and beyond. The finale salutes the nation with the Armed Services Medley. Special guest Steve Olson, retired Fond du Lac Police Detective, is featured on God Bless the USA. The ensemble performs under the direction of Cory Schneider. Reserved seating is available, with tickets priced at $18 online or $23 at the door for adults and $10 online or $15 at the door for students. Presented at the Fond Du Lac High School Performing Arts Center.

Ringing Wet: Songs Inspired by Water

Encore! Handbell Ensemble presents a water-themed handbell concert at Church of Peace UCC in Fond du Lac. The program blends familiar pop tunes arranged for bells with modern sacred pieces, Americana influences, and a hint of experimental sound. Performances also take place in Appleton and Neenah. Free will donations are welcome.

Gold Standard EP Release

Gold Standard marks the release of its first EP with a $10 cover at the door. The group blends bluegrass, R&B, and pop into an upbeat, danceable sound shaped by tight vocal layers, memorable duet lines, and lighthearted lyrics. This three-track debut features energetic string interplay that highlights guitarist Gregg Daigle and cellist Loren Dempster. Wisconsin native Kate Stenson leads on vocals and violin, while bassist and vocalist Ian E Moore, originally from Virginia, contributes much of the songwriting. Ian and Loren had performed together before and later invited Kate, then Gregg, to complete the quartet and focus on original acoustic music.

Shred Day

A free community Shred Day in Downtown Fond du Lac offers a secure way to dispose of documents that contain confidential personal information. Materials will be shredded on-site by Shred-It, a firm specializing in secure shredding and information management, and service will continue until the truck is full. Only paper will be accepted. Bring confidential documents rather than general paper recyclables, and package items so you can lift what you bring. This community service is intended for personal, non-business materials; businesses interested in shredding should contact Shred-It. Do not include plastics, metals, boxes, spiral bound books, clips, or rubber bands. This is not a recycling event.

Tom Winkers

At the Fond Du Lac County Expo Center, this annual pre-Mother's Day craft and vendor fair features free admission, over 80 vendors, donation-based raffle baskets, and food from Paul's Smokehouse BBQ. The Fond du Lac Bead Show

The first Fond du Lac Bead Show debuts at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center Fond du Lac. Explore a wide selection of beads, jewelry-making supplies, and handcrafted items while connecting with local and regional artists, makers, and fellow enthusiasts. Admission is free, and door prize drawings will take place throughout the event. The show is co-hosted by Destination Lake Winnebago Region, Trista Holz Studios, and the Loose Bead Society of Greater Milwaukee. Great Strides

The Fond du Lac Great Strides walk at Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 270 supports the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and its work to cure cystic fibrosis, a progressive genetic condition that impacts the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. This local gathering is part of the Foundation’s largest national fundraiser, with thousands of participants taking part in close to 300 walks around the country. Families, friends, coworkers, and neighbors come together for a spirited day that builds connection and hope while advancing progress for people living with CF. Funds raised help drive vital research and care. Even when a cure becomes reality, individualized treatment will still be needed for long-term health needs, which makes ongoing support important. Art Lab

Curiosity takes the lead in THELMA’s Art Lab, a five-part workshop series for young artists ages 8 to 11, grades 3 to 5. Each session invites hands-on exploration of different art materials and techniques through playful experimentation and creative freedom. The emphasis is on the process rather than perfection. Kids are encouraged to try new approaches, follow their instincts, and enjoy making art without pressure. Participants may attend a single session or the full series. The fee is $10 per session, and adults may stay and participate at no charge. There is room for exploration, happy discoveries, and artwork that feels uniquely their own.

Spring Dyno Day + Car Show

Get those hot rods ready for a first spring dyno day alongside a car show. The dyno will be available for single or multiple pulls, with pricing at $60 for one, $70 for two, and $80 for three. Rear-wheel-drive and front-wheel-drive vehicles are welcome. Participants can reserve a slot ahead of time, and a food truck will be on site for refreshments. See who can set a new dyno record.

US Military Dog Tags Program by Bill Parker

At Fond du Lac Public Library, Bill Parker leads a deep dive into U.S. military identification tags. A volunteer military historian with the South Wood County Historical Museum in Wisconsin Rapids and a Civil War and World War I reenactor who has collected militaria since 2001, Parker explains how to interpret and research tags spanning the Spanish American War through the Korean War. The presentation highlights what the inscriptions can reveal, including a service member’s unit, religious affiliation, awards, and in some instances ties to groups such as the Freemasons, the Elks, and other fraternal organizations. Admission is free and the program is open to everyone.

Granny Squares Quilt

Explore a fabric interpretation of the classic granny square motif in a scrappy quilt class created for quilters with intermediate to advanced piecing skills. Use fabric scraps from your own collection with a warm, tonal brown background to evoke a familiar, nostalgic style. The course runs across the summer in multiple sessions, allowing time for homework between meetings. Instruction includes Deb’s practical guidance for working with tiny 1.5" strip piecing so you can handle the small units accurately and bring the layout together with confidence.

Treffert Studios partners with Moraine Park Technical College to present a free community screening of the documentary Normal Isn’t Real: Succeeding with Learning Disabilities and ADHD. The film follows four accomplished young adults as they speak openly about growing up with learning disabilities and ADHD. Viewers see moments from their everyday lives, the skills they rely on to navigate obstacles, and the ways they leverage personal strengths. The participants come from a range of backgrounds and have built distinct careers, and each has learned what support helps them do their best. All are welcome to attend. Admission is free.

Sisters and Seekers of Fond du Lac

Sisters and Seekers brings together women from a variety of spiritual paths and beliefs to explore meaning and life’s deeper questions in a world that can feel chaotic, polarized, and driven by fear. Inspired by the national Nuns and Nones movement, these monthly gatherings follow a gentle rhythm that fosters trust and connection. Each session begins with a welcome and time to center, followed by a brief review of shared conversation guidelines. Participants offer personal check ins with prompts about how their hearts are doing, a question they are carrying, and an image that captures how they are arriving. Small groups of up to ten then engage in dialogue around a set theme, facilitated by a member of the Guiding Committee. The gathering concludes in a larger circle with individual reflections that might include a word for how they feel now, a mantra or image to carry forward, a key insight, and any question that remains for further reflection.

This Founders’ Day gathering brings UW alumni and friends together to honor the University of Wisconsin’s founding. The program recognizes Linda Struye ’61, the inspiration behind Little Farmer, as Badger of the Year, and features a special presentation from Steffen Mirsky, an emerging crops outreach program coordinator with the UW–Madison Division of Extension. Founders’ Day commemorates the university’s earliest classes and continues as Wisconsin Alumni Association chapters host celebrations around the world. Intro to Oil Painting

Curious about oil painting and not sure where to start? This introductory series spans three sessions and is designed to help you feel comfortable working with the medium at home. The first meeting focuses on essentials such as preparing surfaces and choosing materials. You will learn about common solvents, oils, and pigments, explore how to select canvases and brushes, and begin experimenting with basic techniques. In the second session you will start your first full painting, with guidance on sketching in oil and building an underpainting. The final session returns to that work to add layers over the underpainting while trying approaches for enhancing dimension, refining color, creating texture, and using glazes. All materials are included. Wear clothing that can get messy. Recommended for ages 14 and up, and some prior painting experience is encouraged.

Friday Night Magic - Commander

Entry is $7. All players receive a participation pack and a promo while supplies last. Play is organized into two categories, Casual Competitive for brackets 1 through 3 and CEDH for brackets 4 through 5. Each week, the winner of a pod earns $15 in store credit. Players who take part weekly have a chance to win end of month prizes, with a play booster box from the newest Standard set available through the Casual Competitive track and six collector booster packs available through the CEDH track. This is a sanctioned event, so proxies and gold bordered cards are not permitted. Troubadours of Rhythm, featuring Jon Mroz on bull fiddle, channels the spirit of Chicago’s South Side in the late 1920s with tunes made for dancing, impressive technique, and a dash of hokum humor.

Project G.R.I.L.L. Unveiling Event

Celebrate the completion of Project G.R.I.L.L. at Festival Foods in Fond du Lac, highlighting the 2025–2026 school year. Short for Growing Readiness in Learning and Leading, the program connects teams of high school students with local manufacturers to design and build functional grills while exploring careers in manufacturing and the skilled trades across the greater Fond du Lac area. Students take a product from concept to production and build skills in project management, communication, budgeting, CAD, prototyping, and welding. The unveiling features the finished grills on display, brats and burgers available at the Brat Barn, and voting for a Community Choice Award that will go to one participating school. Now in its 18th year, the event spotlights student creativity and the community partnerships that make it possible.

A speakeasy in Fond du Lac transforms four Edgar Allan Poe stories into live performances alongside a cocktail experience. The Poe Historians narrate the tales, with pairings integrated throughout.

WI Concealed Weapon License Class at Fleet Farm Fond Du Lac, WI 3PM to 7PM

A 4-hour, in-depth class at Fleet Farm Fond du Lac provides training for the Wisconsin Concealed Weapons License and the Arizona Concealed Weapons Permit. Instruction covers the legal framework for carrying concealed firearms, including use of force, firearm safety, and the proper handling and storage of firearms. It also explains what is required to obtain a permit in both Wisconsin and Arizona. The schedule is subject to change.

10th Annual Leatherneck Classic 9-pin No Tap

Gear up for the 10th Annual Leatherneck Classic 9-pin No Tap, hosted by Marine Corps League McCullen-Kimpel Det #552 and Navy Club Ship 75. Organ Concert

The Church of Our Saviour Performing Arts Series presents an organ concert featuring Christian Stromley, performed on the church’s Klaus Becker tracker organ. Stromley is an active organist and accompanist in Wisconsin Rapids and throughout Central Wisconsin, devoted to organ and church music and experienced in leading congregations in worship. His work spans Lutheran, Episcopal, UCC, and Methodist traditions, and he currently serves as organist at St. John The Evangelist Episcopal Church in Wisconsin Rapids. He studied organ performance at Concordia University in St. Paul with Dr. Kristina Langlois, is a student director for the Christus Chorus at Concordia, and has sung with several ensembles including Hennepin Avenue United Methodist’s Sanctuary Choir through its Choral Scholar program. He is also an accompanist at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and serves as Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra. In his free time he enjoys being outdoors with his wife, along with reading or watching films, often with their cat Ellie nearby.

Northshield Spring Crown Tournament

The Northshield Spring Crown Tournament offers a full day of court and competition at the Fond Du Lac Fair Grounds Rec Center. The site welcomes combatants and royalty first, then opens to the broader populace. Morning Court begins the proceedings, the Crown Tournament follows, and an Evening Court will take place once the tournament concludes at the discretion of the Royals. The site will close to the populace later that day. Admission is $5 for ages 5 to 17, $15 for adult members, and $25 for adult non-members, with a family cap of $40 covering two adult members and two children. Checks should be made payable to SCA WI Inc-Barony of Windhaven. Pre-registration details will be announced. Event stewardship is led by Eyja Edmundsdottir (Tara Lager). The gathering takes place in the Shared Office Space on the second floor and in the Seefeld Room. Space is limited to eight people including the host in the Shared Office Space, and there is a limit of twenty people at a time in the Seefeld Room. THELMA’s Art Lab is a five-part workshop series for young artists ages 8 to 11 in grades 3 to 5. Sessions focus on exploring a range of materials and techniques through hands-on experimentation, playful discovery, and creative freedom. The experience is process driven, with an emphasis on exploration over perfection, so kids can try new approaches, follow their instincts, and enjoy creating without pressure. Families may choose a single session or participate in all five. Each session costs $10, and adults are welcome to stay and take part at no additional charge. Expect opportunities to get messy, make discoveries, and craft something that feels uniquely their own.

Kaleidoscope Quilt Series

Explore a kaleidoscope style quilting technique that turns a single fabric into striking, uniquely patterned blocks. Everyone begins with the same print and finishes with distinctly different designs, making room for plenty of creative discovery. Participants should bring a Creative Grids 45 degree Kaleidoscope and Dresden Plate Ruler (CGRTKAL45), a rotary cutting mat or plan to use shared cutting stations, a 6½ by 24 inch ruler, a 60 mm rotary cutter with a fresh blade since the cutting goes through eight layers, and flower head pins, with Clover brand in the regular weight recommended. Fabric choice is central to the look. Select a print with larger motifs and a repeat between 12 and 24 inches. For a bold, high contrast effect, pick widely spaced motifs or strong color variation. For a softer, blended result, choose motifs that sit closer together with fewer color shifts. Avoid very small, tightly packed motifs or strong linear patterns. Plan for eight repeats plus a bit extra; with a 24 inch repeat this is about 5½ yards. If the main fabric will also serve as a border, add roughly one more yard. Guidance with fabric selection is available. This series unfolds across multiple sessions, including Part 1, Part 2, and a future reunion. Expect a friendly mix of technique, exploration, and eye opening results.

Seating is ticketed, with non-member seats at $18 and member seats at $15. Bistro tables for four are available at $83 for non-members and $67 for members. K9 BRAT FRY- RUMMAGE SALE-VENDOR FAIR

Set in North Fond Du Lac Village Park, this community gathering coincides with the Village Wide Rummage Sales in North Fond du Lac. Enjoy a brat fry, hunt for rummage treasures, browse vendor booths, and treat yourself to cotton candy. A basket raffle is planned, and fire trucks along with Theda Star are slated to appear. Proceeds from the brat fry and basket raffle will benefit the North Fond du Lac Police Department K9 fund and Critter Junction Pet Rescue. The department’s new K9, Rev, may make an appearance.

9th Annual Kids Fishing Outing

The 9th Annual Kids Fishing Outing invites children ages 3 to 15 to the West Shelter on Oven Island in Lakeside Park. Fishing is followed by a lunch. Each registered child receives a gift bag that includes bait, a bucket, and a fishing rod if needed. First, second, and third place awards will be given in each fish category, and there will be raffle prizes. Details on where to pick up sign-up forms will be shared soon.

Memorial Day Flag Placement

In observance of Memorial Day, volunteers will place flags on the graves of veterans at three local cemeteries. This is an opportunity for community members to honor those who have passed and to help ensure each resting place is remembered. The effort typically wraps up within a couple of hours, with the duration depending on how many people take part.

Art Lab for Kids

Young artists ages 8-11 can explore a variety of art materials and techniques through hands-on experimentation, discovery, and creative freedom. This workshop series is process-focused, so the emphasis is on exploration rather than perfection. Participants are encouraged to try new things and enjoy creating without pressure. Leadership Fond du Lac County Completion Ceremony 2026

At Hotel Retlaw, this ceremony recognizes the 2025 to 2026 Leadership Fond du Lac County class as they complete a nine month experience focused on building civic knowledge, connections, and practical skills. Throughout the program, participants take part in expert-led discussions, visit local organizations, and work together on projects that serve Fond du Lac County. The evening features time to network with area leaders during a plated dinner, presentations highlighting the class community projects, and recognition with the Donald G. 2026 Fond du Lac Regional Job Fair

Companies can set up an 8x10 booth that includes pipe and drape, a skirted table, director chairs, and a company nameplate. Registered companies should bring charged laptops, as no electricity will be provided to booths. Wifi will be available, but personal hotspots are recommended. Snacks will be provided. A reminder will be sent one week prior to the fair. The event will be held in the Rec Center building at the Fairgrounds.

Creative Cafe

Enjoy a unique and relaxing art workshop where you can order creative projects and make art at your table. Guests can explore a curated menu of creative experiences. Each table starts with paint water, brushes, and mini art supplies. Purchase a creative dish from the menu and enjoy the process of making something wonderful. An ACL Swap comes to Korneli’s On the Avenue with open divisions for every skill level and no partner required. Entry is $15 with a $5 venue fee. During round robin play, beat your ACL PPR cumulatively to earn $5 back, otherwise that amount stays in the payout pot. The format features four rounders that seed a double elimination bracket based on PPR, and at least six games are guaranteed. Payout is 100 percent. Pre-registration through the ACL app is appreciated, but walk ups are welcome.

Salute the Troops 15th Annual Races

Now in its 15th year, this community tradition is dedicated to honoring and supporting Wisconsin veterans and their families. Participants can choose from a 10K run, the Dobogai Memorial 5K, the Brandon Michael Memorial Ruck March, and a kids race, welcoming competitive runners, casual participants, and those walking in support of loved ones. Athletes using wheeled adaptive sports equipment are encouraged to take part, creating an experience that includes participants of all ability levels. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Stitch into summer with a family-friendly bucket hat sewing session at Quilting Legacies. The idea grew from Kate’s trip to Australia, where her family chose favorite colors and made kangaroo print hats they would always remember. This class carries that same spirit, welcoming kids, teens, and adults to create together. Participants select their own fabric and sew a hat that reflects their style. Bring a sewing machine, power cord, foot control, thread, and bobbins. Shared cutting and pressing stations will be available. Fabric and the pattern are included with class admission. Make something cheerful, wearable, and full of memories.

Fondy Food Truck Festival

The Fondy Food Truck Festival marks its sixth year with a lively community celebration featuring up to 40 food trucks and an array of flavors. Choices span Thai, Caribbean, Mexican and BBQ, along with sandwiches and desserts. Live music by the duo Until Dawn sets the tone under the main shelter, and beverages are offered by the Fond du Lac Softball Association. The event also highlights community partners, including the Fond du Lac Police, Fire and Sheriff’s Departments, plus local nonprofit animal organizations sharing information about their work. Families will find plenty for kids, such as bouncy houses, a petting zoo from Whisper Hills Special Needs, a stilt walker, face painting, balloon twisting and more. A 50/50 raffle will be available with tickets sold at the welcome tents and the fundraising tent, and bottled water will be sold for $1 at those locations. Admission is free and no tickets are required.

Dock Spiders Fan Fest

Dock Spiders Fan Fest celebrates the start of the season with free admission, and no ticket is required. Concessions and the team store will be open, an exhibition game is scheduled, and postgame autographs are planned. Attendees can also preview the new turf field.

Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

The American Legion Trier-Puddy Post 75 will host the Memorial Day Parade. The parade will commence at the corner of Rees and Main Streets, proceed south on Main Street, and conclude at Second Street. Following the parade, there will be a Memorial Day Ceremony. Organizations interested in participating in the parade must contact the Fond du Lac County Veterans Service Office. All participating organizations must ensure their entries reflect the meaning and purpose of Memorial Day. For safety reasons, no candy or other items may be thrown during the parade. Out of respect for those who gave their lives in service to our country, no political or protest activities should be conducted during the parade or ceremony.

It aims to empower young people to care for their well being, raise awareness, build resilience, and affirm that no one in the community is facing challenges alone. 49th Annual Evening Optimist Father’s Day Car & Truck Show

Now in its 49th year, this annual car and truck show at the Fond Du Lac County Fairgrounds features participant-based judging with trophies awarded to the top two vehicles in each class. On-site registration is available, and a $10 entry fee per vehicle includes a raffle ticket for prizes. The first 150 registered vehicles receive dash plaques. Grand Parade! Fond du Lac America 250 Semiquincentennial Parade

Set in downtown Fond du Lac, this patriotic parade celebrates America’s 250th year with marching bands, musical groups, themed floats, local businesses, civic organizations, clubs, and community members. Participants are invited to showcase red, white, and blue spirit under the theme “250 years under the stars.” It is free to enter and free to attend. The route follows Main Street from Rees Street to 2nd, and spectators can choose a favorite viewing spot along the way. Parade T-shirts are available for order through Hopper’s on the event website. A possible military plane flyover or aerial salute has been noted.
