Workshops & Classes

Photo 101

Photo 101 is a six-week, beginner-friendly photography course for anyone who wants to move beyond letting the camera decide everything. Through hands-on practice with your own DSLR or mirrorless camera, you will learn how aperture, shutter speed, ISO, composition, and light work together, and how to use them with confidence. The format is interactive with time for questions, not a slide show. Sessions include working with cameras and lenses, real-world examples, and time outside to apply what you learn. Suitable for complete newcomers or those ready to take more control, this class focuses on building a strong foundation. Tuition is $125. A DSLR or mirrorless camera is required. Class size is limited, so please confirm availability before registering.
