At Richland Community Center, instructor Patti Mason leads a smooth, flowing yoga class that weaves sequences of poses with both active and more relaxed breathing. The practice focuses on uniting body, mind, and spirit. This session takes place on Mondays.

Spring Waterfall – Ages 12 and up

Enjoy a creative activity while painting, sipping, and spending time together. A step-by-step paint event provides all the necessary supplies and aprons. You can come early, reserve seats, and order a happy drink before the event begins. The ticket price does not include drinks or food, and you may not bring your own.

Art Explorers

Designed for school-aged children, this weekly art session offers a fun, hands-on experience where participants create a new project to take home. The cost is $25, and discount punch cards are available.

Tuesday PM Pickleball 101

StretchLab Tri-Cities presents a beginner-friendly Pickleball 101 session, with Club 509 member volunteers guiding new players through the basics and creating a welcoming space to meet other beginners. The session takes place at Lawrence Scott Park. Bring a paddle and court shoes if you have them, and dress comfortably for the weather. Participation is free. Expect clear instruction on fundamentals, time to practice and play, and practical guidance from volunteer instructors. Plans may change if weather or volunteer availability requires it. An online waiver must be completed before taking part.

Harmony Sisters

Mom & Me Hydrangea Mixed Media Paint Class

Pair up for a creative session at Chills Froyo and Custard with a Mom and Me Hydrangea mixed media paint class. Come as a parent and child, a grandparent duo, or make it a date night. Each pair collaborates on one hydrangea-inspired mixed media artwork, a thoughtful idea for an early Mother's Day gift. My RAD Art Lab After-School Art Program for Elementary Kids Ages 6-12 (Wednesdays)

Give elementary artists a creative outlet after school with hands-on classes for ages 6 to 12. Each session blends guided themes with provided materials, encouraging kids to experiment with a variety of techniques while following the Primerry Pro art curriculum. Choose a single class for $29 or a recurring monthly membership at $99 for weekly lessons. Billing can be set to the date you prefer and an invoice is sent each month. Enrollment is open at any time, and classes continue through mid June. Options include homeschool, after school, and a Saturday group so families can select what fits best.

Pressed Flowers Cake Building Class with Layered

Learn to build, frost, and decorate a polished layer cake in an immersive three-hour class that focuses on structural fundamentals and a refined buttercream finish enhanced with dried pressed flowers. Begin by discussing which tools truly make a difference and which can be skipped, then prepare sponge layers by scoring and leveling them into even one-inch discs. Move into assembly techniques that add moisture with simple syrup and use a buttercream dam to secure fillings. Practice smooth frosting with a side-to-side motion and refine the finish with an icing smoother for clean edges and seamless sides. Cap it off by arranging pressed florals for an elegant spring-inspired design. The session starts with a brief welcome and introductions alongside light refreshments, then transitions into tool specifics and hands-on trimming using a turntable. After building the cake layers, there is a short break to stretch and refresh drinks. The class continues with covering the cake in its final buttercream coat, smoothing the surface, and decorating with dried florals using Swiss meringue buttercream as an adhesive. It wraps up with a moment for photos and careful boxing of each cake with take-home care instructions. Participants have access to a snack counter featuring house-made nonalcoholic beverages, charcuterie and fruit skewers, a dessert, and a Keurig coffee station. All necessary equipment is provided, including professional turntables, offset spatulas, icing smoothers, and serrated knives. Everyone leaves with a custom six-inch, four-layer cake and a recipe for Swiss meringue buttercream. Tickets are nonrefundable. If attendance is not possible, a ticket may be transferred to another person, but it cannot be moved to a different class. Doors open 10 minutes before the class begins. Those hoping to sit together should arrive when doors open, since seating cannot be reserved even for groups who purchased tickets together. No prior experience is required.

Spring Flowers Painting with Glass | Fused Glass db Studio

Explore the art of painting with glass while designing a personalized spring flower scene. Create bright poppies, calming lavender, or another favorite bloom using a clear glass base and a mix of frit, stringer, and confetti. Guidance covers glass fusing basics along with techniques for working with different glass formats. The session runs about two hours. Tickets are $55 and include all materials plus beginner-friendly instruction. Open to artists of all ages, with children under 10 attending with an accompanying adult. Tickets are nonrefundable, but they may be reassigned to another person for the same class and cannot be moved to a different date. For safety, wear closed-toe shoes and full-coverage bottoms. Completed pieces will be ready for pickup at the winery one week after the class.

Fairy Frog Mini Stationery & Tin Workshop

At FrogPatch, enjoy a relaxed block printing session centered on a mini stationery set with a faerie frog motif, tucked into a metal tin. Participants will learn to carve a pre-drawn design, personalize the artwork, and assemble notecards that can be stored in the tin. The carving block goes home with you and can be reused to keep printing, whether for your own notes or as a giftable set. No experience is required. All materials are provided, along with snacks and nonalcoholic drinks. Open to ages 16 and up.

Weekly Evergreen Group Ride

Enjoy a weekly group ride that welcomes all experience levels. The group departs from the Trek Bicycle Kennewick parking lot and may split into relaxed and faster pace groups as needed. Plan for two laps, and late arrivals can meet the riders on Fred and John's during the climb. Routes often highlight State Patrol, with occasional variations based on the season and trail conditions. After the ride, head to Cozumel for tacos and a chance to chat with board members about the progress of upcoming trail projects.

Hosted by J-Lee with support from the bartending team, this weekly queer-focused karaoke night puts the spotlight squarely on the singers. Whether someone has polished technique or a voice full of personality, it is a welcoming place for any vocal style. The mic is open to everyone. Take the stage solo, harmonize as a duo, or bring a group for a full-tilt anthem. A wide song library covers pop, disco, musical theater, rock, R&B, indie, country, punk, and more, so there is something to match every mood. The atmosphere encourages listening and support, with cheers for each performance. All identities and voices are celebrated, making it a regular ritual for building confidence, sharpening stage presence, and having fun through music.

Recovery Dharma is a weekly gathering for meditation and discussion at Lifted Lotus Yoga Collective in Kennewick. It welcomes all people, not only those who identify with addiction. Family members and friends of people who are struggling are also welcome. Participants may choose to sit in silent practice, listen, or share.

B2B First Aid + BLS Provider Course

Precision Medical Training hosts a back to back certification day for students preparing to enter healthcare programs at its Downtown Kennewick location. Many programs require both BLS Provider and First Aid credentials for admission, and this session allows participants to complete the two courses in a single day. Through hands-on instruction, attendees earn certifications that help meet program requirements and build confidence in essential lifesaving skills. Two for the Apocalypse

Soi 705 hosts a free live set from Two for the Apocalypse, a husband and wife act weaving an eerie mix of folk, blues, and rock into story songs of murder and sorrow. Their roots-driven sound nods to the country soul of Hank Williams and the rough-edged spirit of Tom Waits. Listeners who enjoy classic acoustic textures and a fresh twist on country, blues, and folk with a touch of punk will find plenty to love.

Jam Night

Whiskey River Jam Night with Vaughn Jensen features live music along with food and a welcoming atmosphere. It is an open jam, and the music continues as participants take turns until all who wish to play have had a chance.

Bachata Lessons

Bachata Connection leads a beginner friendly bachata lesson at Daisy Ranch Saloon in Richland as part of Thursday Latin dance nights. The class is free, there is no cover, and no partner or prior experience is needed. The first hour of the social features bachata music, then DJ Frezko and DJ Teck take over with a mix of bachata, salsa, cumbia, merengue, and reggaeton. 75th Anniversary Celebration

Richland Public Library marks 75 years with an all ages celebration that turns the building into a walk through timeline of community stories. Begin in the 1950s with a recreation of the original opening, complete with cookies, vintage photographs, and jazz. Continue into the 1960s for flower power themed games, retro crafts, and colorful decorations. In the 1970s area, take part in a collaborative macramé project, make a pet rock, and learn about the library’s brick mural. Then jump to the 1980s and 1990s, where an arcade bus offers classic games on free play, plus throwback crafts, zines, and free pizza. The 2000s zone features story times with Ms. Kelly and drawing activities connected to library history. In the 2010s section, capture a moment in a photo booth, try decade themed trend challenges, and enjoy creative activities for all ages. On The Lawn, look to the 2020s and beyond by building with Big Blue Blocks, crafting cardboard creations, and contributing ideas for the library of the future. The celebration concludes with the premiere of a commemorative film that highlights the library’s history, impact, and community stories across 75 years. Portions of the event are provided by Little Caesars, Walmart, and Fred Meyer.

The fourth annual prom celebration at Red Lion Hotel Pasco Airport & Conference Center features a decades-spanning theme that salutes the music, fashion, and memories of generations. Guests can wear looks from a favorite era and enjoy an evening with dinner, dessert, casino-style games, dancing, and a lively photo booth. Family and friends are welcome for a night of good cheer and memorable moments.

Stand with Us Gala

Hosted at At Michele’s, the annual Stand with Us Gala is organized by the Columbia Basin Veterans Center to rally the Columbia Basin community around its mission to support local veterans. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, CBVC focuses on four core areas that strengthen veterans and their families: Veterans Therapeutic Court, resource assistance, community outreach and connection, and housing support. The evening includes an elegant dinner, live music, and a historical walk-through honoring the many ways veterans have defended freedom, along with opportunities to contribute to CBVC’s work. Beltane Celebration & Full Moon Circle

At the Conscious Living Expo, Tia Cruzen of Alow Healing leads a community circle that honors Beltane alongside the Full Moon in Scorpio, weaving Beltane’s spark with Scorpio’s deep waters to invite a balanced flow of masculine and feminine energies devoted to creation, release, and renewal. Participants will settle into embodied presence, enliven the senses, and tune to the rhythms of the earth and the rising energy of the summer season. Through drumming and a guided meditation, attendees are encouraged to let go of what no longer serves and open to the vitality and abundance within and around them. Each person will receive a brief healing to support alignment and integration at the energetic level. The intention is to deepen connection to life and to community through presence, clear intention, and the sharing of flame. Please bring items that support comfort while sitting or lying down, such as a yoga mat, a meditation cushion, blankets, and journaling materials for reflection. The circle is planned to be outdoors if the weather allows. This experience is part of the Conscious Living Expo and is limited to the first 20 reservations.

2026 Blaze A Trail Fun Run: Rascal Rodeo Fundraiser

Rascal Rodeo is hosting its first Blaze A Trail Fun Run, a paved one-mile sunset glow fundraiser at Chiawana Park. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to walk, roll, or run as the path glows with provided light-up accessories. The focus is community spirit and support for Rascal Rodeo. Standard registration is $30, and previous or current Rascal Rodeo Cowboys and Cowgirls may participate at no cost. Neon sunset colors are the suggested attire. Sponsorships are available at several levels, including water station, snack table, registration table, glow accessories, T-shirt, and event support.

Enjoy a hands-on candle social at Koala Cafe in Richland, WA where creativity and a relaxed vibe take center stage. Guided step by step, you will pour a custom 10 ounce candle in a 12 ounce vessel, decorate it with wax embeds such as flowers, hearts, bows and more, and finish it with a personalized label and a name of your choosing. The experience includes all materials, snacks and refreshments, and music in a friendly setting that makes it easy to meet new people and enjoy a creative night. Everyone departs with the candle they made plus a small bonus gift... either wax melts or a hanging fragrance tag. No experience is required and the activity is suitable for ages 10 and up. Capacity is limited to keep the gathering intimate, and admission is $65 per person.

A Scorpio full moon gathering opens a two-part Blue Moon journey at Lifted Lotus Yoga, centered on gentle release and softening. Participants move through a grounding Vinyasa practice that settles into stillness, creating space to feel, notice, and let go. Full Moon Hike

Runners of the Sage and IMAC are organizing a go-at-your-own-pace hike to the summit overlook on Badger Mountain to watch a full moon rise over the Blue Mountains. The viewpoint offers a wide, unobstructed horizon. A group option will depart together from the sign at the Badger Canyon Trailhead on the east side at Trailhead Park. Walkers can follow the Canyon Trail for about 1.25 miles with roughly 800 feet of elevation gain to reach the overlook. Runners can turn left at the top of the stairs onto the sagebrush trail, continue as it becomes the Skyline trail, then turn left shortly before the ridge to arrive at the same destination in about 2 miles. From the top, you can return to the base or extend the outing on additional mountain trails. Those hoping to catch the sunset can start from the West entrance for a route of about 2.25 miles, though no group start is arranged there. Moonlight offers some illumination, but parts of the trail are uneven, so a headlamp is recommended if traveling after dark. Dress for changing weather and cooler temperatures after sunset. Snacks will be available at the summit when the moon rises. The hike will be canceled in the event of rain; check Runners of the Sage and IMAC social media for updates if the forecast is uncertain.

Observatory Viewing

Experience a guided tour of the night sky at the observatory with views of planets, deep space objects, galaxies, and more. Each session lasts about 45 minutes and includes a discussion focused on the celestial sights overhead. Tickets must be purchased online, and walk-up purchases are not available. In the event of poor weather or maintenance, the program shifts to a general tour without viewing along with a 15 minute planetarium demonstration. Please dress for the weather, as the observatory is kept at ambient temperature and does not have air conditioning.

Sunrise Collage

Design a bright sunrise themed fabric collage quilt top in a beginner friendly introduction to photo realistic collage techniques. Held at Quiltmania, this class costs $80 and is limited to eight participants. Over three class days totaling six hours, a provided kit supplies fabrics spanning six values, a pattern printed in black and white, a 16 by 16 inch muslin base, Steam-A-Seam Lite 2, and black lace paper. Bring your own scissors of about six inches that can cut fabric, paper, and fusible materials. On the second day, plan to bring a 14 by 14 inch batting, a 14 by 14 inch black backing, black binding to finish a 12 by 12 inch piece, two to four 4 inch squares for hanging, and variegated thread for quilting. Access to a sewing machine with an embroidery foot is needed for free motion quilting. Participants should be comfortable with machine sewing and basic quilting to complete the project as a wall hanging.

Wine Bottle Wind Chime

Lloyd Stoess, President of the Palouse Falls Chapter of the IAFI, will share photographs and explain the evidence for the immense Missoula Floods that shaped the landscape. "Oasis in Space" (Low Sensory Show)

A calm, sensory-considerate planetarium program at CPCCo Planetarium - CBC keeps some house lights on, avoids rapid visual movement, and lowers audio levels to create a welcoming setting for guests who prefer a gentler experience or are uncomfortable in the dark. The hour-long format includes two parts. It starts with a live look at the night sky to point out stars, constellations, and planets visible that evening, then continues with the full-dome film Oasis in Space. Tickets must be purchased online in advance, and walk-up sales are not available. Masks are optional for anyone who chooses to wear one. Talena Bricker shares indie folk songs shaped by years of private writing and a public debut in 2018. That first EP, a stripped back pairing of voice and acoustic guitar, earned praise from outlets including Ear To The Ground and When The Horn The Blows. Since then she has grown through live performances, bringing her music directly to audiences. Her newest release, War Line, expands into a fuller Americana palette with airy pedal steel, gentle violin lines, and subtle interplay among guitar, bass, and drums. The five song EP was recorded at the Rye Room in Portland with producer and studio owner Matt Greco, and it echoes the understated, country tinted songwriting of Gregory Alan Isakov, Patrick Park, and John Paul White. This event is all ages and presented as a free dinner show.

Inland Empire Century Bike Ride 2026

The Inland Empire Century Bike Ride offers routes along the Columbia and Yakima rivers, weaving through parks and over bridges with views of vineyards, wheat fields, and fruit orchards. Sean Gaskell

An outdoor performance on the library lawn features Sean Gaskell on the kora, a 21-string harp from West Africa. The program focuses on traditional pieces that form the heart of the instrument’s repertoire. The kora is traditionally played by Griots, also called Jalis or Jelis, oral historians whose songs recount war, hardship, love, and loss while preserving the history of Mande society, where the instrument originated. Gaskell began his kora journey in 2006 after hearing a live performance by Kane Mathis, who became his first teacher. He later traveled to Brikama, Gambia, to study with Moriba Kuyateh and his father, the late Malamini Jobarteh. Sponsored by the Friends of the Richland Library.

2026 International Vet MX Round 3 - Horn Rapids MX

International Vet MX Round 3 brings a full weekend of motocross action to HRMC, Horn Rapids Motorsports Complex. Hundreds of riders and their families travel from across the region, including participants from Arizona, Washington, and Edmonton in Canada. The schedule includes practice on Friday, with racing on Saturday and Sunday. Riders receive generous track time with 10 to 15 minute practice sessions and 15 to 22 minute motos, three on Saturday and two on Sunday. Classes are organized by age and by ability, with Novice and Intermediate options, an Under 30 category, and several support classes for family members who want to take part. Competition emphasizes clean racing, and the days wrap up with food and bench racing after the on-track sessions.

Spend 2.5 hours in a hands-on culinary workshop focused on crafting spinach and ricotta ravioli from start to finish. An instructor guides the process, covering how to develop supple pasta dough, assemble a flavorful filling, and finish the dish with a classic butter sauce. The format blends demonstration and participation, with most time devoted to instructor-led techniques, dedicated hands-on practice at the table, and a brief period of inactive time while dough rests and pasta cooks. Learn what gives pasta its tenderness by exploring gluten development and elasticity. Watch how a traditional spinach and ricotta filling comes together with aromatics like nutmeg and garlic. Use a pasta machine to roll thin sheets, then practice professional spacing, sealing, and cutting methods to prevent bursting. The session begins with a 15 minute welcome that includes access to snacks and beverages, then moves into a 15 minute dough demonstration on kneading, resting, and flour selection. After a 10 minute break for a stretch and beverage refill, students spend about 50 minutes rolling, filling, and sealing uniform squares. The class wraps with a 30 minute sauce demonstration and service, where the pasta is cooked and enjoyed tossed in a fresh sage butter sauce. Amenities include a refreshment counter with house-made non-alcoholic drinks, charcuterie and fruit skewers, a dessert, and a Keurig coffee station. Aprons and all necessary tools are provided, and every participant receives the recipes to recreate the dish at home. A full plate of the prepared ravioli is served to each student. Tickets are non-refundable and may be transferred to another person but not to a different class. Doors open 10 minutes before the scheduled start, and those hoping to sit together are encouraged to arrive when doors open since seating cannot be guaranteed. Olympic Recovery Run

Winners are chosen by crowd vote in several categories: an overall top bike that earns a trophy and 100 dollars, a loudest exhaust challenge with a trophy and 50 dollars, and a playful worst in show determined by applause that also includes a trophy and 50 dollars. Self Defense Series: Strength without Struggle

PFLAG BF is hosting a free self defense series for the LGBTQ+ community at Beartooth Aikido Studio, welcoming newcomers as well as those returning to build on skills from earlier sessions. The focus is on practical responses to confrontation so participants feel more prepared. Safety 101 offers an introduction to navigating both physical and emotional conflict through the lens of Aikido. This Japanese martial art, founded by Morihei Ueshiba in the early 20th century, emphasizes care for the people around you, your training partners, and yourself. Expect to practice relaxation methods for stressful moments, become more comfortable with close personal space, learn basic ways to avoid being struck, and explore beginner friendly rolling. Wear loose, comfortable clothing such as a T-shirt or sweatshirt with sweatpants, limit jewelry that sticks out to reduce the chance of scratches or injuries, and bring your preferred hydration. Tri-Cities STEM Career Academy (Grades 10–12)

High school students in grades 10 to 12 can take part in a four-day academy focused on real-world STEM career pathways. Activities include flying a drone, tackling an EV car challenge, constructing a working hydroelectric model, and touring a nuclear power plant. The weekend includes a Show & Shine featuring hundreds of classic cars, muscle machines, street rods, motorcycles, and other vintage rides, the signature cruise through Richland streets, live music and entertainment at Party in the Park following the cruise, the Richland Kiwanis pancake breakfast in Jefferson Park, a wide range of food trucks and vendors, and trophies recognizing standout vehicles and crowd favorites. TRI-CITIES ICONIC COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL
