Monthly Foundation Meeting

The Moses Lake Public Library Foundation holds a monthly meeting at the Moses Lake Public Library dedicated to sustaining the library’s growth and service for future generations. Disciple

Presented by Youth Dynamics Moses Lake, Disciple performs live at Generations Church with a set of Christian rock and metal. Hailing from Knoxville, the band has been recording and touring since 1992, releasing thirteen studio albums along with three EPs, a live EP, and a compilation, and recently concluded a Winter Jam run across the Southeast and East Coast. Advance tickets are available online only for $20, and admission at the door is $25. Payment is by card only, no cash accepted.

Kid's Clay: Plant Buddies

This hands-on clay class invites kids to turn a simple lump of clay into cheerful companions for their plants. Participants can sculpt flowers, snails, butterflies, or bees that fit onto a garden stake, or skip the stake and make a straightforward hanging animal to decorate an indoor plant pot. The experience takes place over two sessions, with an initial meeting to build the pieces followed by a separate visit dedicated to glazing. A registration deadline applies, and the class needs a minimum of 10 students to run. Museum members can receive discounted pricing on classes.

Cinco De Mayo

This qualifying softball event at Paul Lauzier Softball Fields features men’s D, E, and recreational divisions, along with women’s upper and lower brackets. Teams have a four game guarantee, $400. Saturday is a three game round robin with the possibility of crossover play. Sunday shifts to single elimination, with divisions separated. The schedule follows a traditional format that makes it easy to enjoy time together and plan the day. Rosters must be completed online and approved.

Kids Fishing Day

A free fishing day welcomes children in kindergarten through sixth grade to try their luck from the shoreline. Volunteers from the Columbia Basin Walleye Club and the Potholes Bass Club will help young anglers as they fish for trout provided by the WA Department of Fish and Wildlife. Collin Mims Clinic

The Collin Mims Clinic features dedicated sessions organized by skill level, with one geared to novice and intermediate riders and another for experts. Betting on a Brighter Future with the Arts: Annual Fundraiser

Columbia Basin Allied Arts presents its annual luncheon and fundraiser at Best Western Lake Front Hotel, creating a welcoming setting to reflect on a year of accomplishments and uplift the arts. Aligned with the excitement of the Kentucky Derby, the gathering embraces a lively racing theme, festive hats, and a cheerful spirit that leans into betting on a brighter artistic future. CBAA provides arts, educational, and cultural programming across Grant, Adams, and Lincoln counties. In 2025 the organization brought cultural performances into schools for 3,200 students, offered free music and arts experiences to more than 15,000 people in downtown Moses Lake, and sold over 1,200 tickets for in-theater performances featuring national touring companies. Community support powers this work and keeps these programs moving forward.

Free Family Saturday: Bug Jars!

Celebrate the season of critters with a hands-on activity where you create a custom bug jar to observe insects up close. Presented as part of Free Family Saturday, this program is sponsored by the Moses Lake Museum & Art Center and is free and open to all ages. Funding for Free Family Saturday comes entirely from donations through the Museum’s membership program, sponsorships, and sales of plush mammoth mascots in the Museum Store. The back doors are now unlocked, and parking is available in the lot off Chestnut by KFC.

2nd Annual Run for the Roses

Campers and the local Potholes community are invited to a family friendly Kentucky Derby celebration filled with excitement, games, food, drinks, and friendly competition. Guests are encouraged to wear their best Derby hats, with golf carts playfully taking the role of fast horses. If able, bring a themed appetizer, dessert, or beverage to share on the table. Returning for a second year after a strong turnout, this gathering aims to welcome both familiar faces and newcomers.

Summer of Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits leads the pairings, and Chef Dezmon and the culinary team present a carefully crafted lineup. Seats are expected to be claimed quickly.

Washington Men's Four-Ball Golf Tournament

Hosted at Lakeview Golf & Country Club, the Washington Men's Four-Ball Golf Tournament features 36 holes of four-ball stroke play with gross and net scoring. The competition includes both regular and senior flights, and teammates must have handicaps within eight strokes of one another. Entry is limited to golfers who are members of a WSGA member club.

Spring Festival 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk

Choose between the 5k or 10k race. Both races start and end at Surf n Slide Water Park. The event is organized by the Moses Lake High School Cross Country boosters. Awards are given to the overall male and female finishers for both the 5K and 10K races, and age group awards are also given. Strollers are allowed, but participants with strollers are asked to line up towards the back. Dogs are not allowed on the course.

HVDC Showcase

Beginning in August 2025, the competitive team has trained with focus and drive, and this showcase honors that work. The program brings together the complete set of competition pieces from the season, highlighting the students and their achievements. A special celebration of commitment and growth.

Sip & Paint to Celebrate America’s 250th birthday

This sip and paint celebration takes place at Moses Lake Elk’s Lodge and is open to anyone with a ticket, no Elk’s membership required. Attendees can enjoy refreshments, with food available and bar service on site. Experience is not necessary. All materials are supplied and an instructor provides guidance. It is a chance to gather with friends and create memories while you make your own painting.

Friday Film Series- American Me

As part of the Friday Film Series at the Moses Lake Civic Center, American Me is presented in partnership with the Moses Lake Creative District. Edward James Olmos both directs and stars in this crime drama, which traces Montoya Santana’s early entry into gang life, his rise within a ruthless prison drug network, and his return to the outside world after 18 years. He seeks a future shaped by family and peace, while facing the question of whether the past will release its hold.

Coffee & Conversation - Open to the Public!

The Downtown Moses Lake Association hosts a recurring community coffee meetup that is open to all. It takes place every other month on the month’s first Friday, with occasional adjustments around holidays. Each gathering features a new presentation from local employees or business owners in Moses Lake, creating space for conversation over complimentary coffee. Heating up!! Seniors 40’s and 50’s

A seniors competition for participants in their 40s and 50s takes place at World Sports League in Moses Lake, Washington. The format begins with pool play and then shifts to a double elimination bracket, and it is listed as 5gg.

Firelight Sunset Sip & Paint

No prior painting experience is required. Everything needed is provided, and step by step guidance will help participants create their own artwork. Attendees can bring friends for a creative outing and leave with new memories and a piece they made themselves.

Monthly Networking Meeting

This monthly networking meeting at Red Door Cafe and More focuses on exchanging referrals, learning about local businesses, and building mutual support for growth. Featured speakers are Julie Johnson of Century 21 - Alsted Real Estate and Sarah Bullinger of Movement Mortgage. The group has been meeting since 2008 and uses a one-per-category structure, with only a single representative allowed from each business category.

A whisky themed event takes place in Moses Lake at Michael's on the Lake.

Music at the Market

Columbia Basin Allied Arts presents this Civic Series installment, bringing Music at the Market back for the season with performances by local musicians and a focus on community connection. Browse the stalls, support local makers and vendors, and enjoy the lively market atmosphere alongside live music.

Reiki Level 1 & 2 Training & Attunement

Hosted at O2 Studio Yoga, this professional course combines Reiki Level 1 and Level 2 instruction with attunement. It offers training and certification in the Reiki tradition of energy-based bodywork.

BAM Northwest Pro-Am Stop #2 Potholes Reservior

MarDon Resort hosts the BAM Trail’s Northwest Pro-Am stop at Potholes Reservior, presented by Tackle Warehouse. This professional bass fishing series spans the West Coast with a big stage, broad media reach, and substantial awards, including a new Vexus boat powered by Mercury Marine at every Pro-Am. The Pro entry is $995 and serves as a pathway into the Bass Boat Technologies BAM Super 60 Pro Tour. The top 10 pros in each division move on to the BAM Classic Championship, where first place earns $100,000 and total payouts top $250,000. Co-angler entry is $495 and offers on-the-water experience alongside a professional angler. The leading co-angler in the Angler of the Year standings for each division secures a prepaid berth to the $250,000 BAM Classic Championship. The Pro/Am Series features two divisions, West and Northwest, with six tournaments across the region. This stop is presented in partnership with Grant County, Washington and MarDon Resort. Family Picnic Day

Presented by the Downtown Moses Lake Association, the fourth annual Family Picnic Day brings the community together at Neppel Landing for a day of family-friendly activities and entertainment. Fire Department Storytime

This event features a preschool storytime along with a fire safety presentation presented by the City of Moses Lake Fire Department. It offers an opportunity for young children to enjoy stories and learn about fire safety in a simple, age-appropriate way.

Dogger live @ The Beach House At Mardon

Clinton “Dogger” Mullins steps out for a solo performance that blends soulful storytelling with a big, layered sound. Recognized across the Pacific Northwest for dynamic shows in settings ranging from casinos to intimate rooms, he glides through a wide mix of styles, moving from country and classic rock to blues and the heavier side of 90s Seattle grunge. Using live looping, he builds guitar and vocal layers in real time to deliver the impact of a full band on his own. The set features originals alongside familiar favorites, including songs from his album Atta Bomb. Expect a welcoming, community-centered atmosphere with energetic music that keeps the night moving. Drawing on decades of experience and past roles with Green Jellÿ, Gebular, Higher Soul, and Fishing with Bigfoot, he brings polished musicianship and genuine passion to the stage. A full-time artist from Grays Harbor County and a member of the Chinook Indian Nation, he uses his career to support tribal advocacy, rooted in a deep connection to the Pacific Northwest. From hosting local open mics to touring with Dogger & Friends, he remains committed to keeping live music thriving.
