Pride Night Out
Pride Night Out returns to Springfield Town Center for its fourth year, bringing a festive celebration to Grand Court in support of Safe Space NOVA. The gathering welcomes all ages with family friendly entertainment, live music, a Pride themed photo selfie station, and participation from local non profit organizations. The program is hosted by Regina Jozet Adams, often known as the Queen of Comedy in the DMV. After an unexpected debut in 1988, she went on to produce, host, and DJ numerous shows and pageants across the region. In partnership with The Lady Tula under Tula and Regina Events, she holds residencies at Blackrock Center for the Arts and Rams Head On Stage, with frequent appearances at venues throughout the area. Highlights include music and performances by Regina Jozet Adams, colorful Pride themed balloons and face painting, a selfie station, a best Pride outfit competition, and hands on crafts for the whole family. Support for Safe Space NOVA is featured through the Pride Wheel, where spins can be purchased for a chance to win prizes. Donations can be made in person through the wheel, and online giving is also available. LGBTQ+ non profit partners are invited to participate; for details, contact Senior Marketing Director Mikia Ross Wilson at Mikia.Wilson@preit.com. Safe Space NOVA is dedicated to creating a safe, accepting, and supportive environment that addresses social stigma, bullying, and other challenges faced by LGBTQ+ youth, with a goal of ensuring that teens ages 14 to 18 in Northern Virginia have access to programs and activities that promote equality.
Arlington Reads with Antoni Porowski (FREE)
This free event marks the 20th year of Arlington Reads as Arlington Public Library explores American life, history, and culture through the lens of food in honor of the nation’s 250th anniversary. Library Director Diane Kresh will be in conversation with Antoni Porowski about food, culture, and community. Seating is unreserved and available in the order of arrival, and high attendance is anticipated, so early arrival is encouraged. Registration through the library provides event updates, and the program will be available to watch via livestream with a recording accessible afterward for registrants. Antoni Porowski is a New York Times bestselling author of Antoni in the Kitchen and Antoni: Let's Do Dinner. He most recently starred in and executive produced National Geographic’s No Taste Like Home, produced by Gordon Ramsay’s Studio Ramsay Global, a series that explores the ancestral culinary traditions of global celebrities. The show won a Critics’ Choice Real TV award in 2025 and received nominations for a Cinema Eye Honors Award and two Realscreen Awards. He is also known as the food and wine expert on Netflix’s Queer Eye, which has completed production on its tenth and final season. This program is presented in partnership with George Mason University.
