A charity golf tournament at Willow Creek Golf Club supports updates for Susanna Wesley Day School. The school is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit preschool that has served the Tomball community for 48 years as a ministry of Tomball Methodist Church. What began as a small Mother’s Day Out program has grown into a full-time childcare program, focused on instilling Christian values and nurturing essential life skills in early childhood through caring actions and teaching. Conroe-Community Breast Ultrasound Screening

HerScan brings a community breast ultrasound screening to the event meeting room at Positively Unfiltered Body Salon. The event uses Constructed format with Swiss rounds. The number of rounds is determined by attendance, or play continues until there is one undefeated player after the most recent round is scored. Music Bingo & Trivia at Dolce Niente

At Dolce Niente, a free, family friendly game night pairs two rounds of Music Bingo with two rounds of multiple choice trivia. Each game runs about 30 minutes. UPSILON SORORITY 4/28 COED MIXER WEEK! (IN PERSON)

Each quarter, WGNO networking Houses become coed for a dedicated mixer week. This in-person event at Eggs Up Grill - Conroe welcomes adults to visit and connect. The Willis/Conroe Sorority House is usually a women-only networking group that meets in person at this location. Across WGNO Sorority & Fraternity there are 23 Houses with more than 500 seat holders. Each House designates one seat per industry, and participants collaborate to support both personal and professional growth.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Weekly Tournament

The Adventure Begins hosts a weekly Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament focused on learning and fun. This Tier 1 event welcomes duelists of all experience levels in a relaxed, instructive setting. A Konami ID is required to participate, obtainable through the Yu-Gi-Oh! Neuron app on iOS or Android. Participants must bring a deck that complies with the Advanced Constructed format. Each duelist receives two booster packs and one OTS pack, with extra booster packs awarded to the winner and top cut. The number of top cut spots and additional prizes varies with attendance. At The Adventure Begins, duelists gather for a weekly Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament classified as Tier 1, offering relaxed competition in a friendly, learning-focused setting that welcomes players of all experience levels. A Konami ID is required to participate and can be created through the Yu-Gi-Oh! Neuron app on iOS or Android. Players must also bring a deck that complies with the Advanced Constructed format. Every participant receives two booster packs and one OTS pack. Blending performance with brief commentary, the program follows that shift through original works and transcriptions, illuminating the instrument’s intimate tone and its growth into a rich, expressive voice. Featured performers include violists Konrad Rudowicz and Merit Rogge with pianists Alona Khoptynets and Khoren Ouzounian. The repertoire includes Franz Schubert’s Arpeggione Sonata in A minor, D. 821, I. The Race to Grand Oaks

A campus run at Grand Oaks High School features 1K, 2 mile, and 5K routes, bringing together future, current, and past Grand Oaks Grizzlies along with family and friends. The event promotes friendly rivalry among GOHS feeder schools and highlights Grizzly pride. Proceeds are shared between Grand Oaks High School and the York Girls' Cross Country and Track teams. Each registered participant can vote for a school within the GOHS feeder zone, and the three schools with the most votes receive a monetary donation for their PE departments. Register only the children who will be reading, as parents and nonreaders do not need to register. To keep the experience calm and focused, the reading time is one-on-one with a dog and families are asked to wait outside the room. After ten years in the mountains of southeast Oklahoma, Dustin Perkins returns with a new album and an energized show at The Table at Madeley in Conroe. Born in Bells, Texas, he channels the work ethic of his stone-mason father and the musical legacy of his mother into vivid Americana storytelling marked by grit and heart. When he is not performing, he runs a mobile sawmill and a custom door shop by the Kiamichi River, crafting wood with the same soulful care he brings to his songs. This performance highlights a new chapter for a Texas artist whose songs are built on authenticity and craft.

Toddler Time offers a relaxed zoo experience designed for children ages 5 and under, so little explorers can discover at their own pace. Families can hand feed a tortoise, get hands on with a snake, watch the birds in the aviary, and spend time in the petting zoo. See the AC-47 and Ride the JRB, B-25, or SB2C in Conroe, TX

Four legendary Commemorative Air Force warbirds will be on display at the CAF Gulf Coast Wing in Conroe. Cockpit tours are available when the aircraft are not flying, and three of the planes will offer Living History flights that include a famous WWII Navy dive bomber and a Marine Corps bomber. Prices start at $150. The AC-47 Gunship Spooky, the newest addition to the Commemorative Air Force, invites an inside-and-out look at restoration work in progress. At the historic Crighton Theatre, this homeschool graduation features separate ceremonies for kindergarten and senior students. The fee is $100 per graduate and covers the ceremony, diploma, and the graduate's seat, and space is limited. Discover the creative possibilities of encaustic art in a guided workshop that blends collage, drawing, and mark-making, then seals the work with a luminous wax finish. Begin by building a mixed media foundation using collage materials, pens, high-contrast photocopies, and other elements to prepare a rich surface for an encaustic overlay. Create a small sampler on Encaustibord to get comfortable with the medium, which combines beeswax and tree resin and traces its history to ancient Egypt and Greece, prized for its durability comparable to oil paint or tempera. On the sampler, experiment with techniques that include drawing with permanent marker, charcoal, dry or oil pastel, and pencil or ink. Layer in tissue for collage, add a line of text or a photo while avoiding glossy magazine paper, then try stamping into the wax and pressing oil color into incised lines. All supplies are provided. No prior art experience is required. Attendance is limited to eight participants.

VFW Post 4709 is partnering with American Legion 411 to present a community celebration for America’s 250th anniversary. Designed with a classic Fourth of July spirit in mind, it emphasizes family-friendly fun and small town camaraderie. Plans include live music from Side Hustle, complimentary hot dogs and soft drinks provided by the Conroe Knights of Columbus, a visit from the Conroe Fire Department with a fire truck and a cooling tent, a tomahawk throwing activity for kids with a hoverboard grand prize, a cornhole tournament for adults, a silent auction with door prizes, Fry Daddy’s food truck, and a K-Star remote prize truck.
