Creative Company: Graig

Enjoy a friendly art and craft session in the Graig with tutor Rhian. Every week features a new activity, ranging from painting and drawing to sewing or working with clay, and a hot drink is included with the £4 session fee. Choose to attend week by week for £4 per person or book a 10 week block for £36. Booking for the full term is available, and attending individual sessions is welcome. SED Spring Kids' Camp

A spring camp with Salado Dance welcomes children in Pre-K through 5th grade for a three-part experience that includes two dance clinics and a stage performance at the SHS Starlets and SMS Sparklers Spring Show. Participants will learn a routine alongside the Mini Sparklers and Starlets and step into the spotlight during the Salado Eagles Dance Spring Showcase. The fee is $75 and covers both clinics, one performance opportunity, a Salado Eagles Dance t-shirt, one adult ticket to the show, and a swag bag for every dancer. Clinics are held at the SMS Cafeteria Stage and at the Pittenger Fine Arts Center in Belton. If a dancer cannot attend both clinics, a practice video will be provided to support their preparation. Space is limited.

Monthly Bell County Historical Commision Meeting

Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament

Organized by the Rotary Club of Temple-South, this annual four person scramble raises funds for scholarships for local students and other community service initiatives. Golfers can look forward to a day on the course with lunch, snacks, and a burger buffet, plus chances to earn prizes in Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin contests. Entry fees are $150 for an individual and $600 for a team. Businesses and community members can also support the cause through sponsorships that include recognition during the event and in promotional materials. The day begins with grounding yoga led by Caroline of Proud Heart Yoga to set a restorative tone. Guided by the theme Soil to Soul, the gathering explores how living soils support vibrant plants, nourishing food, personal well-being, and resilient communities through food, movement, music, land stewardship, and shared experience. Regenerative plates will be prepared by Barrow Brewing’s culinary director, Vincent Alexander, in collaboration with local producers such as MMM Cattle Co., Moody Goat, and other regional partners dedicated to responsible land and animal care. Throughout the day, soil health demonstrations, farmer panels, and guest talks offer direct insights from people working where land, food, and human health meet. Speakers include soil expert Dr. Liz Haney, with conversations that link soil biology to practical farming, nutrition, and community resilience in a clear and accessible way. Walkers can choose flexible shift lengths, from short segments to the full day, and may bring family, friends, and coworkers. Canned goods are accepted for entry, including cat and dog food. Pricing is $48 per adult and $22 per child ages 2 to 10. A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to reserve a table and will be applied to the final bill. BORDERLINE, a 6-piece band based out of Temple, TX, will be performing. Founded in 2023, the band features musicians from Central Texas. Rucks On Main – Memorial Day Temple 10K Ruck March

This 10K ruck march brings the community together to honor Veterans, the Fallen, and local heroes. Participants carry nonperishable food in their rucksacks for donation to Temple Christian Outreach and other local charities, and proceeds help Veteran-led nonprofit organizations. You can take part as an individual, form a social team, or enter a 5-member squad, with a suggested but optional load of up to 40 pounds. Whether competing or walking with friends, the experience is open to a wide range of participants. After the miles, participants can unwind with complimentary food, adult beverages, music, and time to connect with others. T-shirt sizes and sponsor logo placement are not guaranteed for registrations made within 30 days of the event. Rucks On Main focuses on advocacy, mentoring, and education to support the reintegration of Veterans and their families while strengthening ties between service members and the communities they serve.
