That familiar storybook opening awakens a hunger for truth, change, and the comfort of a well-told tale. For generations, folk and fairy stories have captivated audiences, and there may be more within them than make-believe. Like the parables Jesus shared to illuminate the depths of God's kingdom in ways people could grasp, these beloved narratives can offer gentle insights. Witchcraft 101: Broomsticks for Beginners

Discover a practical gateway to witchcraft that centers lived practice rather than trends. This beginner course builds the core framework shared across serious traditions. It opens with a clear definition of the craft, removing fear, misconceptions, and sales-driven myths. Instruction then turns to the forces that make magic work... energy, intention, and will... treated as real dynamics that move, direct, and shape results beyond wishful thinking. Participants examine a practitioner's toolkit and essential terminology, then survey the wider landscape of magical styles and lineages. The class constructs a first spell from start to finish, learning how each part functions and why it belongs. Divination is presented as a way to listen for insight, a companion to every working. New Moon Ritual and Sound Bath

Living Life The Happy Way gathers at Herb & Smudge Apothecary for an evening of soulful renewal under the new moon, blending intention, community, and restorative sound. The experience begins with a warm, herb-infused tea to settle the mind and open the heart, creating space to set meaningful intentions for the season ahead. Participants will reflect and share personal goals for the coming lunar cycle, then relax into a sound bath where soothing vibrations support deep rest and help anchor those intentions. The ceremony takes place in the courtyard with fresh air and moonlight. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, or anything else that will keep you warm and comfortable while you unwind. Expect a thoughtful mix of tea, intention setting, sound healing, and community connection. The cost is $30, and the aim is to arrive open-hearted and leave feeling grounded, centered, and inspired.
