Intro to Embroidery Workshop

This beginner workshop introduces the fundamentals of embroidery and focuses on building skills rather than completing a large project. Students start by learning how to use core tools and set up a project correctly, then practice a handful of beginner stitches. Using those techniques, they explore ways to stitch different flower designs. The first hour centers on guided exercises to develop confidence with these basics, and the final 30 minutes are dedicated to beginning a personal floral embroidery piece. Although the artwork may not be finished during class, participants leave with a solid introduction to embroidery, new creative techniques, embroidery supplies, and the start of a project they can continue at home.

✨🎨🌊Free Style Resin Tray ✨🎨🌊

Pour, swirl, and design a resin tray that reflects your style at a hands-on workshop hosted at the Collin County Farm Museum. Customize your piece with your preferred colors and a range of provided materials including beads, decorative glass, alcohol inks, mica powders, paint, and more. Whether you are chasing coastal wave effects, metallic shimmer, or bold, vibrant patterns, the process is guided by your imagination and no two trays will be the same. You will create a functional work of art to keep or gift. All supplies are included and the cost is $50 per person. Resin requires curing time, so finished trays will be available for pickup after the workshop. Space is limited and spots can go quickly.
