Some dogs plunge right in, while others warm up more slowly, and each one gets the chance to engage at a comfortable pace. The sensory novelty of the foam offers meaningful enrichment, with new textures and movement that build confidence and keep minds active. It is common to see a cautious sniff quickly turn into full-on zoomies. The foam experience is part of a standard park visit, and it pairs nicely with a drink from the beer garden. Healthy Beginnings

Most parents leave the pediatrician's office with a prescription and lingering questions. This focused session is designed to fill in those gaps with practical, root-cause guidance for the moments that matter most. Dr. Sara Nelson-Gray of Freedom Chiropractic and Dr. Clark McLaughlin of Little Wellness Pediatrics sit down for a conversation that keeps things clear and doable, with two doctors aligned on what to do first and why. Topics include what to try before antibiotics for ear infections, how to support drainage at home, and when to watch and wait. You will learn how to read fevers, what to do first, and natural ways to keep kids comfortable and hydrated. The discussion also covers what to do after antibiotics and why it matters, natural home remedies to keep on hand and when to reach for them, pre and probiotic support that often gets overlooked, and better hydration options than Pedialyte that you can make at home. Attendees receive a simple triage framework for the next time a child gets sick, take-home handouts with specific recommendations from both doctors, and the confidence to know what to try first. AMBC’s Social Ride offers a relaxed group mountain bike outing at Baker Creek Preserve, designed to connect riders and build confidence on the trails. Meet at the Baker Creek Pavilion, then roll out together for about 1.5 hours and a distance of roughly 5 to 7 miles. The format is no-drop, so every rider stays with the group. Please complete the 2026 waiver before participating. If it is raining or the trails are wet, the ride will not take place and may pivot to a greenway option. Look to Instagram and Facebook for same-day updates. This recurring ride usually meets at Meads Quarry on the first Tuesday and at Baker Creek on the third Tuesday from spring to fall, unless otherwise noted.
